Iwaizumi wasn't sure how to feel. He was over the moon happy, at the same time he was terrified. It all felt like a lucid dream, that of a nightmare and dream. His only love had now admitted that the feelings where mutual. That was his Midsummer Night's dream. The nightmare-ish part was that his mother is currently in thee hospital, his father seemed to be becoming busier and busier, and his nose was starting to run. His current medicine was the faint warmth he felt in Oikawa's fingers. The idiot hadn't brought his jacket when he ran out. The man never explained why which caused him to scowl.
Something's not right.
"You alright, Iwa-chan~? You look like me when I see an unsolvable equation."
"Well that's exactly what I'm thinking about."
"What?"
"Nothing.", Iwaizumi, sighed, releasing the fluffy haired brunette's hand and sliding his arm around the other's waist, pulling him closer.
"Geez, you're freezing."
"Psh, a little cold can't bring me down, I'm a king, remember.", He laughed mildly.
"Fucking idiot."
"Is that how you talk to all your lovers?", the brown eyed man smirked, raising an eyebrow. Color flushed Iwaizumi's face as Oikawa said that. He still couldn't believe that this was real. The brunette rested his head on the other's shoulder seemingly satisfied and refreshed with his reaction. The green eyed man sighed and rolled his eyes as he slipped his warm hands into the damp locks of Oikawa, ruffling them.
Wow, it's still soft.
10 minutes later, a dark blue Mitsubishi rolled up, Toru's mom at the wheel. Oikawa had called her instead since Iwaizumi explained how busy his father been, and he wasn't sure if the man would come at all. The pretty woman looked at the two of them with concern and affection as they approached. The rain had stopped, leaving the asphalt roads glossy in the harsh headlights of the car, the air cool and damp, the air of the road wafting up, it smelled like dirty wet rock.
Toru was the first to get in, sitting in the back with Hajime. He shuddered and seemed grateful for the heater his mother had turned on, even though she seemed a little warm herself.
"I wish she told me so I could've visited myself...", she murmured ruefully for her ill friend,"Anyways, how are you boys? Did you do it, Toru?"
The brunette flushed at his mother's statement, but nonetheless he smiled.
"Ah, yeah.", he glanced toward the window.
His momma nodded with satisfaction then looked at Iwaizumi through the rearview mirror.
"Please take care of my son, Hajime-kun, he may have been a lady's man but I know he's new to legitimate love, tell me when he's being a brat.", she stated.
"I will take care of him, Oikawa-san."
"I'm not that inexperienced...", The brown eyed boy murmured.
"In some areas, I suppose.", Iwaizumi sighed as he leaned his head back.
"Hold up, what-", He was cut off as the car abruptly went forward. Oikawa glanced up to his mother to see a bit of color in her cheeks. He got a bit of second-hand embarrassment himself.
"There's a time and place for those sort of comments.", Oikawa snapped in a low voice, cheeks a little pink.
"But I would've missed my chance, it was perfect."
Oikawa sighed but smiled. The car ride was quiet but pleasant. The fluffy haired brunette had dozed off on Iwaizumi's lap, sleeping like a cat. He couldn't help but feel a bit of Deja vu as he ran his fingers through the other's hair. This happened before, but it was merely a memory. They arrived at Toru's house faster than the green eyed man expected. He tried shaking the sleeping brunette awake but to no avail, his attempts were in vain.
