Ralph's POV

Ralph's eyes opened, woken from the sound of banging.

Slowly, he stirred awake, coming out of his blissful haze of sleep.

Turning over he slipped out of his mates arms, trying to sleep some more but yet the banging still continued.

He sat up, frowning and looked at the wooden door where the sound was eminating from.

'Who is bashing down my door?' He thought angrily to himself.

"Uhg," Ralph muttered to myself, and reluctantly got out of his bed where his beautiful mate, Lupa, was sleeping.

Ralph stumbled over to the door and pulled aside the peek door, revealing the amazing green eye's of one of his best Guardians, and best friend's, Jake Windsor.

"Jake, what are you doing here?" Ralph asked, suprised at seeing his best friend standing at his door at this time. Then a thoought accured.

"Have you and Dazy fought again?"

Jake is a guardian of the land, meaning he helps to protect the RiverMoon Territory.

They are issued night or day shifts, but Jake usually volenteers for both.

This angers Dazy greetly, Jake's mate, because she feels that he does not view her that impotantly, but that is not the case at all.

Dazy met Jake after he became a guardian. He feels that now it is a part of him.

Jake averted his tear filling eyes wich worried Ralph severely, for Jake rarely ever cried.

"She hasn't spoken to me for a week now..." He said, trailing off at the end.

Ralph cursed.

"Wait in the loungeroom, I'll be just a minute." He oredered.

Ralph was turning away when he heard Jake again.

"Alpha it is a problem, but not the problem I came here for."

Ralph turned around once more.

"What is it then?"

"Well I was patrolling early, when I came across a rogue. I assigned Jerry to make sure she doesn't go anywhere, but she seemed fast asleep.

"She?" Ralph said raising his eyebrows.

"Just the one, and nobody else?"

"No Alpha."

"Very well, wait out the front, I'll get us some clothes-"

"Don't worry about me Alpha, jerry has my shorts, and that's really all you will need. See you out the front."

Ralph shut the peek door and got a pair of shorts out of his wooden drawers. He turned and saw Lupa sleeping and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, which she smiled to, and left the house. Ralph shifted and bounded into the forest where he would confront a rogue.

Lilac's POV

I felt myself being pushed.

'Is it Brad? Is he going to beat me again' I quickly thought, and sat up as straight as a pole.
