LIA

(After 10 Months)

"Do you wanna build a snowman? " I uttered as I knock at Allisa's door with the same knock that Anna did at the movie, Frozen.

Oh yeah people, I watched it and fell drastically inlove with the songs.

"Go away Lia!" was the reply behind the closed door and I laughed while opening it, revealing a very crazy Courtney with her auburn hair in a braid and a cheeky grin plastered on her face.

"You never listen, eh?"

"Never and you, of all people should know that." I told her and wiggle my eyebrows.

I don't know but ever since I got here and someone orders me around, I feel not doing it. Well, not that I'm being ordered around cause that only happened once, when this witch came and know what? She's the first one who did it too.

But N.O. , she isn't a witch. She's far from that.

"So?" she suddenly asked.

"So? What?"

"Why are you here?" she asked in a singy song manner and I scoffed at that.

Oh yeah, it's not like ever since she came here, we always bug each other's room in early mornings and even late nights.

Crazy, eh?

She moved here ten months ago, after the day when...well, he said he doesn't want me. She was sent from the royal family in this pack for I don't know why and I never dared to ask cause that would be so rude of me.

Then, I think that I'm the first girl were(wolf) she saw, aside from the luna and she jumped me right there and then when are eyes met. So, long story short, we became friends after that insane encounter.

"What are you doing?" I asked, ignoring her question, while looking at the her laptop with a TOP CASE written in bold letters in some pdf file.

She didn't answer and to much to my surprise, she rummaged around and flip the laptop close even before I can look closely.

That was umm, surprising?

"Woah. That was fast."

"Uh, yeah?" she said her face kinda mixed with the emotions of relief and nervousness.

"Let's go down?" I just said to ease the situation. If she doesn't want to let me have a look then that's fine.

She nodded and relief crossed her face.

"Let's go."

I'm the first one to head for the door and she followed behind me. I opened the door for both of us and nodded for her to go outside first, like I always do, and she obliged.

"Oh. Here comes the dumb were." I heard that baritone voice coming from behind me and I turned to see Kyle, looking at me with such hate and disgust in his face.

I just bowed my head and I heard Alissa growl behind me.

'Hey don't growl at the alpha.' I mind-linked her but she didn't seem to listen because she growled even more when I heard Kyle added something like, "Worthless were should just die."

I don't know why but I can seem to pretty much handle my tears though my heart is like literally breaking apart, because of what he said.

I don't know why he didn't just reject me back then, so I'll never have this feelings anymore and he will not have a worthless mate like me. I don't know why he's so happy of hurting me every now and then, when I've done absolutlely nothing wrong to him.

"Let's go A." I told Alissa in barely a whisper while reaching for his wrist without looking up. "Good day Kyle." I muttered with much respect and head out down stairs.

While we walked down the hall, I hear Alissa mumbling some things. Maybe she's too upset with what Kyle did.

Well, she's always like this. She's like a sister and sometimes, a protective one. She doesn't care even Kyle has the blood of an alpha running through his veins and she doesn't get intimidated by his handsome features too.

I don't know why she treats me so kindly but I'm forever grateful for it.

"You guys alright?" I hear alpha Ke.nneth asked as he came into view and I bowed.

"Good morning sir." I muttered and I felt a hand on my chin, lifting it up and I met his sparkling green eyes, just like his son's.

"I told you not to do that." he said and I heard Alissa scoff.

What's wrong with her?

Upon hearing the scoff of my ever beloved friend, alpha Kenneth seemed to realise something and he instanly back away, pulling out his hand from my chin in the process.

"Young alpha is at it again, K." he told the alpha Kenneth, referring to his son, Kyle.

His eyes narrowed at the information and he sighed heavily, "I'm so sorry Lia."

I just nod and smile. He and the luna always say sorry for the things that they never did and it's getting intolerable.

"Come, let's go have some fun." he blurted out  and A and I just said yes.

We all ended up in an amusement park near the house where Alpha Kenneth gave us tickets for all the rides.

"What should we try on first?" I told Alissa beside while grinning at her. It's my first time to be in an amusement park and I just feel so jolly about it.

Well, I'm really not sure if it's my first time but for now, it is. Woah. I just sound silly.

"Let's try the roller coaster!" Alpha Kenneth suggested and I just nodded.

"Isn't it dangerous?" I heard A asked in a curious tone behind me but the alpha just laughed it off saying that it's so safe.

Yeah, pretty much safe for him cause he owns the park.

"Let's go!" I muttered and ran into the line where a big red vehicle like a train that's inside a huge circle railing is in.

According to the picture on the map, that's the roller coaster and I assume, it really is because of the sign below it. I think it's the first time that I'd seen one and to say that it's kinda dangerous is an understatement.

We rode the ride and I must say that it's really great but scary at the same time. I pretty much shouted while we are in there while hearing A laughing and the alpha screaming with me.

"That was incredible! Let's try some more!" I said when we got out of the mini fence of the roller coaster.

We rode different rides and it's so fun! I love how they make my heart thump for some reason. I feel like a child and I feel so free and refreshed!!

We are now walking to the last ride that we still haven't tried and the sun is already down. But it's okay cause it's not late yet and we have the alpha with us.

"Let's now go to our last ri..." I never got to finish what I was saying when I felt myself slumped at the ground, screaming in pain while my chest feels like it's being ripped apart.

I felt my forehead sweating as my head starts aching.

"What's happening?" I hear Alissa say as she reached my arm and pull me into her arms.

"Don't tell me that youngster..." I hear her growled but I can't make out what she's doing, everything is blurred.

My heart is in flame and I looked at the man standing in front of us, probably the alpha, pleading to help me and to tell me what's happening but he just caught me in his arms and cooed that everything will be fine.

I was still clutching my chest when I hear the sounds became faint and everything turned black.
