I came in the diner 15 minutes earlier without arousing any suspicion from the people in pack house. Well, they are busy so they really didn't pay much attention to them.

I told Alpha Kenneth and Alissa that I will just be trying to clear off some things in my mind in the woods and they both agreead without any preamble.

Before going here, I changed 'that' shirt with one of my green t-shirt and some jeans. I don't want to go out flauntering a shirt that only reminds me of him and his flings.

I'm being a freak, I know, but being around with something that brings bad memories shouldn't just be ignored.

Speaking of 'ignored', I'm still being ignored by my wolf and though it's pretty crazy, I feel like it's something not unusual at all. I mean, I can still feel her presence so I'm still fine with it. Maybe she's just resting or just plain snob at the moment.

At least I know that my wolf is still with me and will always be with me, unlike my other half, my douche excuse of a mate.

"Oh please." I angrily mumbled at my breath at sudden thought of Kyle's face in my mind.

I shook my head at the thoughts and tried so hard to erase my negativity, courtesy of my mate.

I'm going to find out who I am tonight and this will just make everything great. I will know if I really have a family and If that is so, I can get out of this pack and move in to a place where I truly belong.

The place that I might just deserve.

I just let my gaze run around the 'diner' and to be honest, this place just gives off some homey and comfy vibe that will make your muscles relax. The color of the walls were light green and there were paintings on the walls of the some forest, waterfalls and anything from the nature.

"You came." I was pulled out from my 'eye-touring' with that familiar cheery voice that I've been expecting all along.

"Of course." I said with a grin as I turn to meet a smiling Rylie, behind me. "Have a sit." I added and gestured the couch in front of me so we can talk easily.

He gladly obliged and he didn't even tear off his gaze at me like he never thought that I will be here.

"I sure thought of that Lia." I heard his voice in my mind and I swear, my eyes instantly bulged out while looking at him and he just smirked at me.

Oh boy was he enjoying this.

"How?" I said in word form and that is when his smirk changed into a frown then he shook his head.

He murmured something to himself and even with my enhanced hearing, I only caught some words like, "They really... such craziness."

"Lia. Will you answer some questions for me?" He then asked and a determined look dawned upon him.

"Sure, but I've asked you first. So it's only natural that you will answer me first then you can go on with your questioning." I stated which he chuckled at.

"Alright. But I wanna ask you first."

"Tsk. Fine. Fire away." I said while doing a figure of a gun with my hands which he, again, chuckled at.

But even before he could fire his first question, an old lady in white chef uniform asked us if we have orders, considering we are in this diner and all.

Lol.

We both just settled for a burger and some choco milkshakes.

"So." We both muttered at the same time after the lady was already out of sight.
