"What the heck?" I heard someone faintly said and I tried to open my eyes but it remained closed.

What's with them? Can't even budge when I want to open them?

Seriously?

"Are you such a fool that you didn't know anything besides satisfying your big darn ego little alpha?" I heard Ali said and I can imagine that she's got her brows all narrowed at that someone. Her voice was menacing and so strong that made me want to know what got her to throw such a fit.

The person that she's talking to might be a big douche for making her feel like that.

For the ten months that I have met Alissa, she was never the type to say words in a way that will make someone scared or threatened. She was always the sweet one yet I don't know what happened now.

The person she's talking to is a douche, dear. A really big one.

"You are such a brat. Do you know that Ali? It's such a waste cause you're hot." a familiar man's voice answered and instantly want to open my eyes to see if I'm right in my guess of who said that.

If she was really talking to the big, son of the alpha kind of douche and if that same douche is hitting on her?

It sent a blow to my gut and at the same time that I felt tingles through my spine.

I was right then.

My heart is slowly being ripped apart when he said those words and I can't help but to want to put my hands on my ears to stop hearing his words. But my crazy body wouldn't even let me do it.

Gahh! Move already!

"Uh.. You're gross! Try that next time and I swear that you'll never see the sun again." I heard Ali's threatening voice but the little Alpha just chuckled.

"You're scary Alissa. So scary!" he said mockingly and I can imagine that he has his smirk on while Alissa is fuming.

"Don't tell me, I didn't warn you." I heard Alissa's voice as she added some incoherent words then something was slammed and growl replaced voices.

What's happening? I tried to open my eyes but there was none. I feel paralyzed without even knowing why.

What's happening?

"Enough!" I heard a new voice said but there was still growling.

"I said 'ENOUGH'!" the voice boomed and all I wanted to do was to get myself back to sleep.

I don't want this. I don't want anything to do with this.

Please. Just please, let me rest already.

Slowly and slowly, without any idea, the growls became faint and the voices died down. Everything seemed to mix up and then there was silence.

The wind was warm in the place. The sun is smiling down to the forest and the tall trees are standing in all their glory.

I'm standing in the middle of nowhere yet I feel so at peace with myself. Like, there's no problems. No mate. No rejection.

Nothing at all.

I sighed at the thought of my mate and shook my head.

"Merlia."

I smiled at the voice and turned around to see a woman in a light blue flowy dress that extends until the tips of her feet and has her auburn hair flowing freely on her sides.
