Okay, i'll confess...

Nicole’s POV~

Okay ill confess…

So Dan and I have been best friends since, well since we were younger really, our parents were best friends and they brought a house next to each-other, they were really close so then Dan and I became really close. We went to school together, have sleepovers and just generally had a blast every time. When we were in high school I used to have really bad nightmares and Dan knew this, so every night I would have my window slightly open just in case I would happen to have those horrible nightmares again, I would talk to him by using our walky talkies and he would climb into my bedroom and sing me to sleep. Somehow his soothing voice would always make me fall fast asleep. We are now both leaving College soon and don’t know where life will take us. But during these last couple of weeks something has changed with Dan and I..

Olivia- ‘Come on, you’ve been in there for hours! I’m ready to leave without you so you better hurry up. ‘

I never thought I would be one of those people who took forever getting changed, but tonight I wanted to look reasonably good, not disgusting as usual. I guess I wanted to shock people that I can actually make myself look presentable. I’ve been in the bathroom for quite some time now, and I’m guessing by Olivia’s tone she is getting pissed off. I decided to wear a mid-thigh black dress that was tight around my breasts and stomach but flowed down when it hit my waist, a pair of black Jeffrey Campbells. I had my long light brown-blond hair in loose curls and my make up was minimal with darkish red lipstick. I looked pretty good, well better than I did before, so I guess I’m ready now.

I slowly opened the bathroom door to see a very shocked Olivia smiling ear to ear.

Olivia~ ‘Holly shit! You look amazing, now lets go we are already late’

Nicole~ ‘Why thank you sire, you look pretty fab yourself, I’m sure Gerard will go crazy for you tonight.’

Olivia~ ‘okay okay, enough. we have to go or else there will be no more cake.’

~ Arriving at Dan’s flat ~

Outside Dan’s flat was mental. There were people already intoxicated on the front lawn, beer cans everywhere, girls dancing slutty to get guys attention and the music blasting through out the whole street. I’m surprised Dan actually know this much people, he is always so shy and awkward, but in a cute way.

 I was so pumped to go and have a good night with some of my mates, Olivia and I reached the front door and then.. and then I got anxious, I started to freak out and worry. What if they are all smashed out of there minds and something bad happened, what if –

I was knocked out of my thought when the we were greeted by a slightly drunk tall, skinny man with an astonishing moustache and light beared I knew exactly who this was… Kyle, he greeted me in a warm bear hug,

Kyle~ ‘GUyyys! You made it! Woooooho. I was starting to get a tad worried when my bud wasn’t here, but that doesn’t matter anymore cos you’re here Nicole, oh Dan will be so happy that you’ve made it. ‘

His words were slightly a jumble and I could smell the alcohol lurking around his moustache.

Nicole~ ‘hahaha Kyle how much have you drunk without me?’

Kyle~ ‘hmmmm probably around 3 or 6’

Nicole~ ‘*shocked* how rude, you couldn’t wait for me huh Simmons’

Kyle~ ‘nopeehehehe’

He says with a slight smirk and a childish chuckle.

Kyle~ ‘ oh how rude of me, do you guys want a drink?’

I shook my head signaling a no, while Olivia was already following Kyle to the fridge to get a alcoholic beverage, knowing her she will probably get smashed tonight so it looks like I’ll be the one driving us home.

That’s when I realized I was alone well I wasn’t really but I was surrounded by a whole heap of dancing drunks, I looked around if I could see anyone I knew, I couldn’t see anyone but complete random people who got into his house seeing there was a wild party. So, I decided to head up to Dan’s little studio room, knowing exactly that no one would be in there. Fighting my way to the hallway I finally reached the door, I heard some faint footsteps so I quickly got inside and closed the door behind me. I turned myself around to see Dan’s piano placed in the corner of the room. I walk towards it and sit myself down on the little stool , I start to play Wake Me Up by Ed Sheeran, no one was really heard me sing besides my sister, I don’t really have to worry about having people hear me because they are all to busy grinding on each other and making fools of themselves. I stopped playing realizing I hadn’t even see Dan to say happy birthday, how could I be so rude. I get up off of the little stool and start to make my way to the living-room, hoping to find one of the boys or Olivia.

Dan’s POV~

The place was already trashed in a matter of minuets, faces I’ve never seen before walking into my house already drunk and stoned of there head. I’ve already lost Woody and Will, but I’m guessing they are probably passed out somewhere around here. The music was louder than before but I’m not complaining, my neighbors are. I walked into my living room where people are going crazy, I faintly see Nicole and Olivia near the front door with Kyle, I attempted to make my way to greet them but was suddenly surrounded by a whole heap of sweaty and revolting smells around me. I gave up and decided to walk around to the kitchen to get to the front door but got pulled back by Olivia giving me a big hug stating her wishes for me. I thanked her then a sudden look of worry struck my face.

Olivia~ ‘whats wrong birthday boy?’

Dan~ ‘didn’t Nicole come in with you guys?’

Olivia~ ‘yeah she is right ove- oh, um I don’t know where she went’

She says with a concerned tone.

Kyle~ ‘im sure she will show up somewhere.’

Dan~ ‘yeah you’re right

I said defeat.

Kyle and Olivia walked to the mini bar and asked if I wanted a drink but refused, I suddenly had a wicked idea for our new album, so I hurriedly headed up to my little studio room to write some lyrics down before I lost them.

Hey guys I’m back, sorry it took so long, school is a real bastard. But anyway I hope you enjoy this chapter. I will be writing more after my exams

Oh, and I don’t think I mentioned that I’m going to see Bastille in 6 days!!!

Ill let you guys know how it go's , I will probably be really emotional so prepare for some sad stuff later on,
