"Oh god, don't hang out with those immature assholes, Bella." Lucy puts one of her hands on my shoulder, and I realize she's was quite taller than me by a few inches with her red high heels on. She had just came to pick me up from Algebra II, and saw me hanging out with Tremaine and August. I glare at her hand with a vibrant red polish on her nails, then back up at her face.

"....why?"

"They're just....annoying! They'll only get in the way of your future with the drama and DM you messages with 'I love you' and trying to take you out for a date with them, when all they wanna do is get you in their bed!" Lucy sighs.

"Have you ever talked to them before or gotten to know them, besides what rumors assume?" I ask, and Lucy laughs.

"No, but-"

"Then maybe you shouldn't say that about them...I'm just sayin'. You don't know them, and I hardly do either. I've only known them for two hours. They seem friendly and nice so far so I think I can handle myself if it gets bad...but I do greatly appreciate you looking out for me. Thanks Lucy."

"No problem Bella!" Lucy beams and escorts me to my the dance class I have for my third hour. Lucinda tells me none of her friends were in this class. Apparently there's only 15 kids in here, including me now. That's surprising to me. However, it should go smoother then with less people.

"Have fun! I'll be back five minutes before the class ends, and I'll show you to the cafeteria! Bye!" Lucy waves and I wave back, watching her leave. Once I turn around to find a seat, I end up accidently bumping right into someone.

"I-I'm so sorry!" I quickly apologize. She stares at my presence as if I were a statue, up and down for a brief second, before turning her head back around. Okay...I mean, it is a Monday...
