(Orange) "Run Victor!" I had knocked the Elite onto the ground, gaining all of his attention. Victor ran off to who I assumed gained the names Red and Blue, if mine was Orange...

The Elite snarled and with a simple arm sweep, pushed me off him. I quickly got up, distancing myself with a backflip and stared down my opponent, who by now had gotten up and was picking up his energy sword.

On each side of my legs were two black nightsticks, holstered on the sides of my calves. I yanked both out, spinning them each in my hands before firmly grabbing both handles and holding them in front of me. When gripping the handles, energy bayonets shot out the tips of each one, glowing a fierce, electric blue.

The elite snapped his arm out and his energy sword crackled to life, hissing with lethality. He pointed it at me and crouched slightly as we circled each other, waiting to see who'd strike first.

I charged, raising one arm to swing at him. He stepped back and I missed my swing. After taking a step back, he charged at me raising his arm up and heavily swinging down with dastardly speed.

I held both my nightsticks up, flinching as the sword connected. It hissed loudly and sparks flew everywhere.

Pushing forward, I shunned his blow. His arms moved back, leaving his body open. I performed multiple swipes at his open chest, cutting into his armor and hammering down at his shield. He grabbed one of my handles and tried yanking it out of my hands whilst tilting his body to the side, narrowly avoiding a plunge attack from my other nightstick, meant to penetrate through the armor.

Instead of yanking the weapon out my hand, he ended up lifting me completely into the air as I stubbornly held on. I brought my feet up and stomped into his face. He flinched, losing grip on one of my nightsticks and I took this opportunity to push off his face. I successfully flipped backwards with both weapons still in hand. He staggered back and I charged towards him, putting both nightsticks together to deliver a big stab to the stomach. He regained composure faster then I expected and before I could stop myself, he brought his knee to my face. It completely dazed me and my head flew back as I crumpled to the ground.

My vision was blurry and I saw multiple elites walking towards me, energy sword raised and prepared to stab down.

I yelled out in frustration and rolled to the side.  The energy sword pierced the side of my armor knocking my shields out completely. I performed a sweep kick but it wasn't strong enough and didn't knock him off balance as intended. Instead, he grabbed my leg and held me upside down. He let out an intimidating growl, his mandibles twitching as he held the sword out, preparing to stab right through my chest.

I clenched my teeth in anger and thrust my nightsticks forward, trying to hit anywhere.
I felt a few blows connect to his legs, knocking out his shields and damaging him a bit. He ignored it and thrusted the sword forward. My eyes widened as the whole world seemed to enter slow motion...

I jerked myself to the right, trying to dodge the blow. Instead of piercing the middle of my stomach, it pierced my left side, coming through completely. I gasped, feeling the blade come out my back. He yanked the sword out and dropped me on the ground. I groaned and propped myself up with one elbow, trying to get up.

His foot connected to my side, delivering a powerful kick to my ribs. I felt them crack, flying across the air. My back slammed into a tree and I slid down it, rolling across the ground. I stared up at the sky, trying to intake air as my head lolled to the right, showing the feet of the elite, who's strides towards me showed intention to make quick work.

I laid there limp, adrenaline pumping through me and encouraging my body to make a move but I was in so much pain. When he got within a foot of me and I caught a glimpse of the energy sword, something snapped inside of me. I death gripped both my nightsticks, slammed them together, madly dashing towards him thrusting both blades forward. He belted out what sounded like a war-cry and simply smacked both my arms, changing my direction of attack.

They flew to the side and both my melee weapons soared into the woods. I fell back to the ground and lost all my adrenaline. I slowly became aware of the blood loss I was going through.

"Worthless..." my vision faded into black... The rest of the Sangheilis words did not make it to my ears.

I prayed that Blue and Red had managed to ensure Victors safety as everything went black...

(Vex'Redna) The pool of blood forming around the ODST, confirmed that she'd never be getting up again. Though I had only stabbed her side, it was still a fatal blow that would soon take its toll.

A fist connected to the side of my face and I staggered back, growling at whatever was now attacking me. The blue and red ODST had seemed to have taken out the Brute Chieftain. I'd have to kill both of them if I wanted a chance at finding the child.

I grabbed a plasma grenade and threw it in-between the ODST. They dove out the way and I instantly activated my cloak, walking into another area of the forest.

"We need to get back to Victor." The red one had gotten up and said this after realizing I was gone. The blue one looked at him but then his attention fell behind them and he charged into red, knocking him into a pile of brush.

The crackling red shot of a revenant fell where they were just standing, letting out a huge 'BOOM' where it landed.

"Shit!" I heard the cursing of one of the two as they began weaving around multiple trees, dodging the multiple shots of the Revenant. I glanced over and saw a wounded Chieftain piloting his vehicle with an enraged look on his face.

I took this as my moment to sneak back towards where they had previously been, in hopes of finding the child.

(Victor Huff) I'd been sitting in the drop pod for what felt like an hour, compared to the actual ten minutes that may has passed. I heard the dreadful sound of a Revenant pass by and caught a glimpse of the Brute Chieftain piloting it, heading towards Orange, Red and Blue. I flinched the first few times a shot had rung out across the forest, more and more afraid that they might die.

Then I remembered: I had a shotgun. I threw my backpack off from behind me and yanked the shotgun out my pack. I put my backpack back on and held the gun in front of me; I didn't feel any safer...

I listened really hard for signs of anything. Though the ODST probably had things under control, I felt like something was still on the verge of getting me.

The sounds of the Revenant and its gun fire were far away now, which was when I began hearing the sound of footsteps. My breathing hitched and I stared straight ahead. The gun shook in my hands and my finger rested on the trigger. The footsteps got closer and I began breathing very quickly, on the verge of hyperventilation.

A shadow soon became a real figure and I saw the camouflaged outline of the Elite step in front of me. I gasped and shot the gun.
The butt of the gun slammed into my chest, knocking the air out of me.

The shot went into the the elite, knocking out his shields but not killing him. He growled and before I could pump the gun for another shot, he put his hand around the gun and threw it behind him. His camouflage turned off and his armor started shining, showing that his shields were replenishing.

He bent down on one knee, staring me in the eyes with an annoyed look before throwing me over his shoulder and walking off, away from the others. I felt the fight quickly leave me and didn't even attempt screaming; I was still recovering from the gut punch my shotgun had delivered to me.

All hopes of being rescued were gone and I once again felt like a prisoner...
