Rhys, then who the hell is it? Are we expecting someone? Feyre sent down their bond.
No Feyre darling. If I had something planned you would have known beforehand. He purred in reply.
Suddenly, just as quickly as it came, the darkness withdrew revealing a woman. She was beautiful, yet cruel with blood red lips and almost black eyes. Tamlin the poor bitch was practically drooling. Beside the woman stood two men, clearly warriors, from the way they regarded those in the room with onyx eyes marking each and every movement. One man had dark black hair like the woman's eyes, if that man was darkness then the other man was the light, for he had golden hair that shone when it shifted in the light. Behind these men there was a man who could only be described as fear instilling, though Rhys himself would never be afraid of someone purely based on their looks, but he had to admit it was slightly nauseating that the man seemed to be lugging a coffin behind him as if doing so was a complete turn on. Other than these four the rest of these batshit crazy people seemed plain and unremarkable, most likely normal guards, but nonetheless powerful. In fact everyone that had appeared out of the darkness was practically overflowing with power, and as bullshit as it sounded, the iron coffin appeared to
Rhys' thoughts were interrupted by the woman's voice
"Let's skip the formalities and get straight down to business. My Name is Queen Maeve of the Dorenelle. Though you may address me as your majesty"
"Very well then Queen Maeve. I am the high lord of the night court Rhys. This is Feyre my mate and High lady. That over there is Tarquin, High lord of—" began Rhys.
"I already know who you all are, you peasants, and you will address me more formally if you know what's good for your little hellhole of a world." Maeve Snarled through her blood colored lips.
"You Fucking Bitch how dare you spe—" Beron screeched as his insult was cut of by the swish and thud of a small blade thrown between his legs and by the queen herself. The blade seemed to have come from the shadows themselves so Rhys was fairly sure that Az responsible.
Feyre must have noticed this herself since she quickly added "I must apologize for this man's untactful words since he is too prideful to do so himself and for well..."
"A wise choice. Besides I have come to offer you insignificant fools a deal. I will give you a weapon so powerful it can destroy entire armies in one blow and in exchange you shall safeguard and hide this weapon and 3 of my best warriors until I return to claim them." Drawled Maeve.
Hellion was the first to recover from his shock "Your Majesty" Hellion purred "May we have some time to debate"
"Fine you have 3 minutes and Night Court Lord, would you please inform your shadow walker that we didn't come here to fight and we are aware of his presence so he can just come on out."
Az peeled away from the shadows and then slunk over to Mor's side. Rhys could hear Feyre's internal sigh through the bond as they both thought some things never change.Rhys strode over to Join Kallias, Beron, and Tamlin by the fountain with Tarquin, Hellion, Thesian and Feyre in tow along with several members from each court.
This time the first to speak was Tamlin,
"We should take the deal and store the weapon in spring"
"That's bullshit you tool! The only place equipped to even House a powerful weapon is the night court" injected Cassian.
"I don't trust the night court or its leaders—" started Tarquin
"SERIOUSLY! After all we've done for you! You little—" yelled Mor causing the heads of the new comers to glance slightly in their direction.
" Shut up and let me finish,I don't trust the night court but I do trust that they are extremely capable of killing anyone who gets in their way and will always do what's in their best interest and right now that's defeating Hybern, which could possibly be the result of this alliance. So in my opinion, if we are to take this deal we should probably store this weapon at the night court." Finished Tarquin.
"I concur, but I must suggest some supervison." Added Hellion.
"Ridiculous. Utterly fucking stupid and Ridicu—" Beron started.
Cutting off Beron Thesian muttered loudly "Shut up for once Beron. We all know we need a trump card and this one has just been handed over on a silver platter."
"For once we agree" added in Kallias.
Beron began to stutter " But... w..what...y...you...can't be SERIOUS RIGH—"
"Times up what's your decision? Will you die or take my deal? The choice is yours fools." said the queen staring directly at Rhys causing him shudder. Those words oddly enough caused the iron coffin to shake and he understood why, why something may shiver in this queen's presence for the queen sounded just like... No he couldn't think about that now he—Rhys was dragged back to reality by the tender tug on the bond.
Rhys we're gonna get through this just do what You think you need to. The choice is yours and I will always love you and support you.
I love you Feyre Darling.
"Yes" Rhys said reaching for a Feyre's hand and clasping on. "We will take your deal."
