At Doranelle the day of other world fae deal.
He had been told Maeve's plan in advance, but Gods dammit he had no fucking idea what to do. If he freed Aelin now Maeve would just use the oath to order him after her, but if he didn't free her then... He didn't really know what the hell would happen, but it might result in Rowan eventually clawing his eyes out. Even as he strutted down the musty hall leading to the dungeon he still hadn't decided what to do. He entered the room which contained that ugly iron box. Shit! He thought to himself. He still didn't know what his next move should be. He hadn't thought up any plan. He stopped and stood before the coffin for a minute before finally reaching a simple conclusion which was, he wouldn't think. He would just act. He decided this would be the least shitty option of many shitty options since he almost never thought before he acted. So he reached out, lifted the lid off the coffin, and dropped the keys to the chains and mask inside. After doing this he smirked, even though her body was wrecked, because he knew his next words would change every thing. Then he whispered "I think their days are numbered. So let me tell you a little about your aunty dearest and her lovely meeting plans."
Sorry for not updating for a while and for how short this chapter is but I wanted to upload this chapter and the next as close together as possible so you can expect and update in the next couple of days.
