It took a little longer than I had hoped but here it is...

He hated not knowing shit, but he hated threats even more, and a woman, that they not only knew next to nothing about, but had set a room full of people on fire was a pretty big fucking threat. So when heard the venom laced yell of the coffin-woman he was at that damn door within seconds. The were others only steps behind as opened the door so hard it was nearly yanked off its hinges, only to flinch as a dagger strike the wall, missing his head by barely an inch.

Aelin
She had fucked up. Of course the fucking dagger would miss, honestly what the hell did she expect after being in an iron box for gods knew how long. It didn't take long for her to regain complete control as she scanned the man at the door and those behind him. Seeing only unfamiliar faces she realized that she could use this. These people weren't Maeve, or her blood bound assholes, they didn't know who she was or what she could do. They simply knew she was some naked girl in a coffin. Yes, she had almost burnt a room full of unknown people to ashes but she could blame that on fear, she thought to herself ignoring the embers of self hate as she thought of what Rowan would think. It was easier than she thought to make her eyes wet with tears, as she shifted her body over the scorched floor hunching over to appear meek, and terrified. She extended out a purposefully shaky hand that tightly clutched the other dagger, as if to indicate that she was unsure of how to use it. As if her first throw had been a fluke. It reminded her of her time in the glass castle as Lillian the jewel thief. But unlike then, maybe some of her fear, well maybe not fear but something almost like shame, was real. Still... until she was back with Rowan, with Aedion, with Lysandra, with her court, in her home... She wouldn't, no she couldn't let her emotions cloud her thoughts. It could mean things much worse than death.

The shadows whispered words to him like a chant as his eyes flicked from the woman to the dagger hilt deep in the wall. Aelin born of fire. Celaena born of blood. Lillian born of lies and Elentiya born of none. They sang it like some whimsical prayer. He didn't understand, not really, but he would, soon, just not yet.

A little (Alice in Wonderland style) insight into the story:
In a Grave, dead men tell no tales, but shadows see it all. And when demons live in shadows, the shadows are sure to talk.———————————————————————————
There you have it, a meeting that was not nearly enough, but no worries I'm just itching to finalize this next chapter. It took sooo long last time with work, and writers block, but that's over with now (hopefully)!!! Thanks for y'alls patience and support! Feel free to leave ideas, comments, constructive criticism or even guesses on on what the little riddle means! 🖤
