The whole room had gone to hell. The flames had consumed everything. At least that's what he'd believed before he'd enveloped the room in darkness and crept behind the woman, hitting her with the back of his sword. He'd retracted the darkness just as the woman hit the ground, and saw that while the other high lords looked like shit, none except for Carin had been injured. Rhys took a step towards Carin and noticed how his face was twisted with agony and fear. Then he realized Carin wasn't moving, he had been burned alive. The realization pulled him out of his thoughts and he noticed that the other high lords particularly Tamlin were still in shock. Rhys made his way over to Feyre, having to step over Carin's body in the process, took her hand and sent a message down the bond
While the others are regaining their senses we should take the woman and leave. We can get our shit together later, but we need answers now.
And what about those two? replied Feyre tilting her head towards Fenrys, who was kneeling by the woman, and Connall, who was silently standing by the pair. I think we should take them as well.
I make a scene, you winnow? Rhys sent down the bond with a smirk.
You always were a drama queen, laughed Feyre down the bond as she calmly walked towards the woman and Fenrys.
"LISTEN UP ASSHAT'S, AFTER SEEING THAT THE POWER'S OF THE NIGHT COURT ARE THE ONLY ONES CAPABLE OF CONTAINING THIS SO CALLED WEAPON'S POWERS WE ARE TAKING THESE THREE! IF YOU HAVE ANY OBJECTIONS YOU CAN GO FUCK YOURSELF? Yelled Rhys to the entirety of the room making a grand gesture towards Fenrys, Connall, and the woman just as Feyre winnowed them to the night court. The only one to speak after that was Beron who began spluttering, "You whoring Bastard-" but Rhys never heard the rest since he too winnowed to the night court just seconds later.
