ch. 12

Nate ended up staying with me after what happened, I don't think he would have had an option to leave, I didn't want to be alone. I knew Scott would come back, I just didn't know when. My parents don't know what he had done to me, I couldn't bring myself to tell them, or any of my other siblings.

I was comfortably laying next to Nate, when my phone started ringing. I reached over and grabbed my phone, it was Charlie, I answered,

"Hello?"

"Scott is back?! I saw him coming from your house. What the hell is he doing back?! Did he touch you? I swear.."

One thing you should know about Charlie, and Kat is that they are very protective of me since I am the youngest.

"Charlie, I'm ok, Nate is over now." Charlie stopped talking.

"Oh, Nate's over? huh?" I could just see the smirk on her face.

"Yes, Nate." I smiled up at him, and he did the same.

"Ok, well I'll leave you two alone to do whatever. Oh hey 4th of July is coming up we should all go to the lake together! "

I rolled my eyes,

"Charlie, it's only June 15th."

"So? That doesn't mean we shouldn't start planning." I swear that girl...

"Alright,  we can start talking about it later, see you later sis!!"

"Alright, bye boo, love you!" I smiled

"Love you too" I hang up, and put my phone back.

"What was Charlie talking about?"

I smiled, "Well for 4th of July we all go down to my family's lake house, and everyone gets together, and we have a big 4th of July party it's really fun. Do you want to come with us this year?" He smiled, and ran his band through my hair softly,

"I would love to, who all is going?"

I smiled at his touch,

"Well, Mason, Charlie, Zayn, and Kat usually come with us, but a lot of my family comes, and everyone in between, so be prepared to be hounded with questions from my friends and family." he smiled at me, not saying anything.

"What are you smiling at?" he sat up, and I did the same.

"I have something for you." He reached under my bed, and brought out a long rectangular box, how long has that been there? He handed it to me, and I opened it and gasped smiling. It was a beautiful necklace with a diamond heart attached to it. I looked up at him and he asked,

"Do you want me to help you put it on?"

"I can't accept this Nate..." he smiled, and kissed my nose

"Yes you can, I can't take it back" he grins and takes the box out of my hands and takes out the necklace. I shake my head and turn around holding my hair up. When he clasped it together, and landed on my chest, it was cold, and I looked at it and smiled.

I turned back around, and he took my small hands in his,

"Jules, will you be mine?" I nodded smiling

"Yes, I will." I hugged him, and I hear my mom say,

"Aww how cute! Now you can introduce Nate to the family for 4th of July!"

I turn around and see my mom standing in my doorway.

"Mom!" She raises her arms in surrender,

"Alright, Alright sorry my love" she smiles widely at me and closes the door and leaves. I smiled up at Nate who still had his arms around my waist,

"Be prepared to meet my crazy family." he chuckled, and kissed me, and I enjoyed every second of it.
