As soon as he started kissing me he was taken off of me. I look up to see Charlie's neighbor, who I know is a police officer, handcuffing Scott. He calls someone who I'm assuming is back up and he helps me up,
"Are you alright Miss?" I nod, looking at him, and Kat comes in and hugs me.
"I'm sorry love. You won't ever see them again, Scott is being arrested and Charlie is being fined, and we'll get a restraining order against both of them." I look at the officer, and he nods taking Scott outside to his police car, and I hug Kat back.
After we talk to the police, Kat drives me home. As we're getting out I see Nate run out of my house, and over to me, and he engulfs me in a hug.
"Baby why didn't you ask me to go?" He asks holding my face gently in his hands. I sigh and look down,
"I don't know... I thought I could handle it myself, I didn't know Scott was going to be there though." He hugs me again.
"I'm sorry Jules.." we walk back inside and I have to sit down and explain what happened to my parents. Nate sits with me the whole time and rubs my back holding me close. Finally we get upstairs and it's just us, and he looks down at me tucking my hair gently behind my ear,
"I'm not letting you out of my sight, ok?" I smile, because I know he's being protective, and nods. He smiles and kisses my lips, it's a soft sweet kiss and I enjoy it until I hear my mom yell up the stairs that we need to get my school schedule tomorrow and Nate is welcome to join us, i groan and slowly pull away from the kiss.
"Is it already that time? Summer went by too fast." He chuckles and kisses my forehead,
"I hope we'll have classes together, because I'll go crazy if I wouldn't be able to see you all day." I giggle and blush,
"I'm sure you could live babe."
"No way" He chuckles and shakes his head. I smile up at him.
"Would you like to go get ice cream with me?" He smiles widely at me, and I quickly nod yes.
We make it to our ice cream place and order, walk outside with our ice cream. I smile and lick my ice cream and he swipes some ice cream on my nose and grins at me like I child.
"Nate!! Get it off my nose!" I squeal and laugh. He grins and licks it off my nose and starts kissing around my face making me have a fit of giggles. He laughs and we sit out on a bench and eat our ice cream looking around.
Nate and I walk back to my house after we finish eating our ice cream and he walks me to my door.
"I'll see you tomorrow beautiful" He smiles widely holding my waist and pecks my lips.
"I'll see you tomorrow handsome." I smile back and kiss his lips one more time before walking inside. I shower and lay in bed, thinking of all the events that happened today, until I'm interrupt by my phone going off, I look and see a text from Nate,
"Goodnight babe, sleep well and have sweet dreams, I'll always be here for you, don't forget that. Call or text if you need me beautiful. I love you"
I smile widley reading it and reply back and sends Kat a good night text and I soon fall asleep.
