Here's what I see...
Sunlight seeping through the trees.
If I stare long enough, my head hurts
But if I don't, I'll miss the magnificence.
I see the branches swaying along to the tune of the red head. Flowers and leaves joining the soirée.
And I see the sun bowing down.
Surrendering to the earth each day.
The mightiest being amongst us all yet how humbly he lowers his head to pay tribute. Here's what I hear...
Indistinct chatter of birds, a symphony of noises.
So naturally terrific , the only orderly disorder. Warm to the ear like the voice of someone dear and known.
Yet waning amidst this traffic.
Now I hear horns blaring and restless drivers shouting for everyone to get going.
I hear the disturbance humans make as they go about their day.
Like an unwanted ripple making its way through the water , ruining its tranquility. Here's what I feel...
So full of life yet so hollow inside.
Everything good lies just a road away but I have no stable feet to walk that distance.
I'm Undeniably close yet miles away. Setting my foot forward but to a destination not known.
Etching for something, pining and craving for an experience not know. But Here's what I do know...
That I may not know what I want to know right now, but I know that I want to know something which is more than what many can say. Its my first step towards something.
The first step in a long voyage, insignificant compared to the vastness of my journey but a step towards a future nevertheless.
