She was alone in her solitude
Surrounded by mortal beings
Yet no face she knew till miles away
She was fighting her battles all alone
She was wearied down by sins not her own
She was living, she was existing
She was alive, she was there
But at some point along the line
She got lost
Did she wander too far or was she
Stuck in time and space?
She didn't know
The line of the dead was now blurred
And she couldn't decide, at which side
Of the line she belonged.
She was forbidden to give up
So she continued on...
Each day crushing her own soul, destroying her spirit
Each day she lost herself,
Each day her shadow grew
Until one fated day
The inevitable befell
Her shadow devoured her whole and
So, she escaped into the darkness!_______________________________________
Author Note!
Yay, this is my first note to you wonderful humans, with, might I add, regal taste in poetry.
If you like my poetry feel free to comment and vote, and just give me any and all feed back.
Us humans are a part of society built on support, so show me some.I write all the time, but this is the first time I've put my poetry on a platform where anyone can read it.
It's a different kind of feeling,
Like walking in the dark forests, you have no idea where you are headed, whose following, are you lost or have you just begun to find yourself.Let me know if any of my words call to you guys.
Caramel rainbows!
