Escape from life

Chapter 18:Zoo.

Rita woke up to see that the weekend was back again. She looked at her phone to see Neymar texted her:

"Hey Rita, WYD? I heard about what happened to Jenny, she was a good friend. And Mrs. Nicolas :("

Rita saw it was at 7:00 am and it was now 9:30 am. Wow did she sleep for that long!

She text him back:

"I just woke up lol and Ik I miss her. :("

Rita looked around to see Emilyy looking at a book. Rita smiled and said, "Emily what are you doing." Daisy flipped through the pages," Oh nothing just reading." She looked at Rita to see a phone in her hand.

Emily gasped," Where and who gave you that phone!" Rita had to think about it, "Oh my mom got it for me. Like it??" As she showed the fancy touch screen phone to Emily.

Emily looked at her and said, "Oh ok cool!" As she, gone back to the very interesting book. Rita sighed she did not want Emily knowing that Neymar gave her that phone. Emily would get to jealous.
Rita got off her bed and walked to the living room. Her butler walked in and said, "Hello Rita what would you like for breakfast?" Rita shrugged, "Can I just have pancakes please."

The butler nodded his head and went in the kitchen to tell the chef. Rita sat on the leather white couch and turned on the flat screen TV. Sadly, the show "My Best Friends" was Jenny favorite TV show.

As the theme song started to play, tears slowly come out of Rita eyes as it fell on her phone. She turned off the TV and started to stop her tears with her sleeve. Her Dad walked in and looked at her, "Hey kiddo, I heard about Jenny." Rita started crying hard.

Her Dad just sighed and put her on his lap, "Kiddo listen there will be times were you lose friends but that doesn't mean that you will have to be sad." Rita sobbed and looked at him, "But dad you don't understand she was my ONLY friend I ever had in like 4 years."

Her Dad hugged her," What about that kid Nyemo or something." Rita laughed at bit and said," His name is Neymar, dad!" Her Dad playfully rolled his eyes and said, "Well whatever his name is, I guess you can hang out with him today but we are going to go to the dentist at 1 so make sure to meet us there or do you want us to pick you up?" Rita was excited and said, "let me text him first."

He rose his eyebrow, "When did you get a phone?" She laughed and went upstairs and yelled," Long story."

As she went upstairs and saw Emily just finish a book. Emily smiled, "This book is amazing" as she held up the book "Night of the Living Dummy".

Rita wasn't listening she too busy getting ready. She went to her closet and got a white sweater and a red coat with a white scarf. She brushed her hair and put on her white beanie with cat ears and some red flats.

She looked in the mirror and smiled wow she does know her fashion. Emily looked at her, "Wow you look very pretty." Rita smiled. "Thanks Emily."

Rita phone beamed, she looked at it.

Neymar: Hey I'm almost there my mom is taking us to the Zoo! :)

Rita smiled and texted back:

Cool! I love the giraffes! :D

Rita heard a honk outside she looked at her window to see a shiny black hummer. Emily looked out the window, frowned, and said, "Who is that." Rita sighed, "My boyfriend, well bye Emily!"

Neymar walked to the door and rung the doorbell. William opened the door and smiled and said," Well if it isn't my main man wassup." William and Neymar fist bump and Neymar said, "Nothing much sir." William frowned and said in a stern voice,"I told you to call me William." Neymar laughed and said, "Alright William."

"Dad, what are doing?" Rita said very embarrassed. William looked at Rita and spoke, "Oh nothing I'm talking to my main man." Rita faced palm, "Main man really so embarrassing!" Rita grabbed Neymar hand and said, "Bye Dad." William waved goodbye.

Rita and Neymar got into the Hummer. Rita looked at him, "Please don't try to make my Dad 'act cool' or whatever". Neymar laughed and said,"Ok."

As they arrived at Willis Zoo, they got out the car and went to the administration to get their tickets. Once they got their tickets, they got the map of where to go. Rita saw the giraffe symbol. She pointed her finger to the symbol and said, "Neymar, let's go there." He nodded and they went to see the giraffes.

Once they got there, Rita walked to the gate to see a zookeeper feeding a baby giraffe. She looked at the zookeeper and said;"hi." The zookeeper looked at her, "Good day mate." He said in an Australian accent."Do you want to pet her?" Rita nodded and began to pet her, "How old is she and what's her name?" The zookeeper said,"She's 3 days old and her names Georgia."

Rita smiled. Oh how she loved giraffes.

After the zoo date, Rita looked at her phone to check the time. it was 12:30 pm. Neymar's mom came to pick them up and take them home.

Once Rita was home, He walked her to her doorstep and said goodbye, kissed her cheek, and walked back the hummer. Rita got the spare key from the flower pot and unlocked the door to see her mother shaving her very hairy legs that look like they belonged to Big Foot. Rita looked at her and made a barf noise.

Karen looked up and blushed. She put her leg down and straightened her dress. She coughed and said, "Are you ready to go to the dentist." Rita nodded as Karen and her head towards Karen's brand new shiny blue Mercedes.
