Chapter 16

Maha POV

He was fine but still have little fever today morning. After breakfast I asked him to drop me home so he dropped me. Now I'm making dinner for him as I remember him saying when he dropped me.

"I can't wait for a time when I'll eat food of your hands everyday." he said. I lower eyes and replied him with shy smile "Then don't wait and come for dinner tonight." He didn't say anything and I become tense, I look up at him and saw his shinning eyes and a beautiful smile. "Sure why not." he said kissing my forehead which makes me close my eyes and smile.

He is coming tonight for dinner and I'm very happy. I'm making his favourite dish biryani. "Appi, I'm looking you are smiling since Farhan bhai dropped you. Tell me what happened last night. Did he kiss you? Or did he..?" asked Fahad sitting on the counter and wiggling his eyebrows at me. "FAHAD!!!" I stopped him before he said something as my face start heating up. He burst out laughing at me and said "You.... Should..... Saw..... Your.... Face." I took the spoon and throw it on him. But he quickly run away.

I just recently made biryani and went in my room. I start getting ready. I wear my dress and apply kajol, creamy skin lipstick. I look at the clock and saw it's 7:30 p.m means he will be here anytime. I set my dupata on my shoulders and put it on my head.

I went downstairs and saw Fahad seated with dadu in living room. As I entered in the living room, I noticed Fahad smirk. Something is fishy. "Dadu it's look like someone is so eager to meet her husband. See dadu don't you thing she is over ready." said Fahad to dadu. I look at my dress then up at them who was trying their best to stop laugh. "See dadu I said you appi is impatiently waiting for her husband. You should Ruksat her soon and welcome your new daughter." Fahad said with a mischievous smile. Dadu pulled his ear and said "Don't tease my daughter. I think I also talk with Raza about your wedding." Fahad shyly smile and hug dadu.

I sit beside dadu and also smile shyly. Dadu also hug me and kissed my head. "May Allah bless you both." Dadu said. We pulled away as I heard door bell ring. I look up at dadu and Fahad. They both are smiling at me and motioned me to open the door.

I opened the door and saw Farhan standing there with flowers in his hands. "Assalam o Alikum!" I greeted him. He greeted me back and give me flowers. I thanked him. I was looking at the flowers in my hands as I remember one thing. I look up at him and put my hand on his forehead. Thank God he is fine now. He smiles taking my hand in his and said kissing it "I'm fine." "Alhamdulillah." I whispered and move aside so he come inside.

He is sitting in the living room with dadu and Fahad having talks. I went in kitchen filled a glass with water for him. I went to him and give him water. He drink the water with smile. I went back in kitchen and start setting the table for dinner with the help of maids.

I called everyone for dinner and served them. "Beta come and sit beside Farhan." dadu said as I come out of the kitchen with juice. I nodded my head and sit beside him. "You know my sister specially make it for you." Fahad said as I was about to take a spoon of biryani in my mouth. "Oh really?" asked Farhan. Fahad nodded his head. Fahad took a spoon and praised it. I smiled and start eating but stop as I feel a hand on my thigh. I look at him who he is smiling and talking with Fahad and dadu. He know what he is doing but didn't remove his hand. I look down at my plate and swallow hard as I feel his thumb making circle.

I hardly eat anything because of him. His touch making my heart beat fast and butterflies in my stomach. As he removed his hand I got up from the table and went inside the kitchen. I gulped water in one breath and put it on the counter. I moved a little and saw they finished their food. I take desert and put it on the table. I again sit beside him and this time he grab my hand. Thank God I'm sitting on his right side. He held my left hand with his.
