Chapter 54

Maha POV

Every night I talked to Farhan because he was in Dubai. One month had passed without him. I was missing him badly but he called me every night and talked till I slept.

My phone started buzzing when I sat on the chair in my cabin. I smiled after seeing the caller ID and pressed the answer button.

"Assalam o Alaikum!"

"Walaikum Assalam!"

"So how is my wife?"

"Alhamdulillah better than before after hearing her hubby voice."

"Missing me?"

"Hmm.." I hummed looking down at the file and remembered I had meeting hour later.

"Doctors said that abbu will be conscious soon."

"InshAllah he will."

"InshAllah."

"Do you have your breakfast on time? And lunch?"

"Yes. Yes. Meri jaan I have my breakfast and lunch on time. What about you?"

"When I have an overprotective husband like you who ordered his employees to keep an eye on and take care if I take my lunch on time in office and staff at home to take care of my breakfast and dinner then how can I forget to take my meal on time?" I heard him chuckled.

I smiled and looked down at my sketches for the meetings and checked the important file which I needed.

"So what are you doing?"

"Check the sketches and files last time."

"Boring meetings?"

"Yeah but I really appreciate the work of your employees. They all are hard workers."

"Mano if you have any problem in handling company don't be hesitate to send few work here to me. I will handle it. I don't want to make you tired."

"Hey! Don't be feel guilty. I want you to spend your time with your abbu. Plus, if there is any problem your employees are here who are helping me alot."

"My employees are great aren't they?"

"Yeah! Oh! I call you after meeting Farhan it's nearly meeting time."

"OK. Allah Hafiz!"

"Allah Hafiz!"

I hanged up the phone and was about to get up from the chair but fell when I suddenly felt a wave of dizziness. I closed my eyes and rested my held my head. I took deep breaths and again stood up.

From three days I felt dizziness and nausea which scared me. Last time when this same happened that was because of poison. I had to go to the doctor for checkup before Farhan got to know.

I went to the meeting room and started the meeting once the clients came. After two hours meeting I went to hospital. When  Shawaiz bhai asked I lied and told him, "I am going to visit my friend." I felt bad but he would tell Farhan if I told him I was going for a check up.

I was waiting for my name to called. Farhan appointed many guards for before going. The doctor did some blood test and told me that I would receive the reports tomorrow.

I laid on bed after offering Isha and silently prayed that nothing bad happened to me. My phone started ringing and a smile formed on my lips because I knew who was calling me. I answered the called and Farhan face showed on the screen because we were on video call.
