There's no limit to people's avidity; no matter how much you did, they are always waiting for more. All the little details never noticed, the little words never spoken, the little attentions never perceived; you did them all but none would be able to save you from the thirst that is blowing them.
If you REALLY and TRULY love, you must have deeply understood the other to the point that you can never ever judge him or prejudice him; to the point that you can read between the lines and detect the moves despite the lull between. That is love to me.
« I love you » is not just a phrase to throw in someone's face to show them you're into them and then expecting everything would be resolved, it is so childish to be. Upon it all, pride and prejudice have always been matched together, it's not so hard to deduce the reason why if you're ready enough to face facts.
