Normal Appearance
CloudWings have long, slender, almost snake-like bodies. Their scales are smooth and nearly iridescent. Their wing size rival a SkyWing's, and sport only two long "fingers" instead of the regular four or five as well as two wing thumbs instead of one.
CloudWings come in shades of blue, ranging from completely white to a pale sky blue. There are occasions where a CloudWing will take a light purple hue, or even a pale golden color. Every CloudWing possesses tiger-like stripes that range from light grey to dark grey. Their underbellies come in whites and greys.
They also possess a tuft of fur on their chin that matches the colors of their stripes. CloudWings also have a line of sharp, flat spikes on their head down to the middle of their neck. The spikes taper down to regular spines that stop at the area between the wings. At the end of the tail is a fan of sharp spikes like the spikes on the neck.
Deformities/Mutations
Within the Royal Family, there exists a scale deformity that makes the scales a dark black color with red or gold markings and white eyes. Sometimes this deformity may appear on a dragon partially, giving the CloudWing an abnormal appearance (as seen with Princess Supercell).
Another deformity known is found in Cloudborn CloudWings. Cloudborn CloudWings are always skinny and seemingly cannot put on too much muscle. Their scales are exceedingly iridescent, giving them an almost metallic-like appearance. In addition, the coloration of Cloudborn CloudWings have been noted as the lightest possible outcomes. Their main scales are almost always a silvery color with light grey stripes, spines, and chin fur.
