All had the group photograph and Kate was about to leave the hall. She checked if all her belongings were in place and turned to the door. Several medalists approached Kate to wish her for her 18th birthday. She was indeed so happy. While she was accepting their wishes, she saw him again.

Ryan Hartford... the "person of the day" was at a distance, yet her eyes were locked on his. Among all, he was highlighted in her vision.That's when Kate frowned at him to show that she didn't care a tuppence for his attitude. But his stare held her.

She wanted to break away.

But her limbs had gone numb already.
