Kate's walk had turned to a skip when she came to school the next day. So early in the morning she skipped to meet the teacher-in-charge, Mrs. Price.
"Ma'am, I rang up the president of Nothanger High and confirmed our participation." Kate was not scared though she had offended her word.
"Glad to hear it Kate. Can you ring up Ryan Hartford and ask whether we could bring two teams?"
Kate's mind went blank for a second. She had to call him again!
"I will ask him and get a team after that, ma'am. I will take care of it," Kate sheepishly said and vanished for the days work as the bell had just been rung to commence school work.

"Hello Mr. Hartford. I am Katherine Green of Vincent High, I called you yesterday..." Kate let her voice trail off as her knuckles were going white since she was gripping the receiver too tight.
"Yes, how can I help you Miss Green?"
"I wonder if we could bring two teams to Phoebus'14. If it's not an inconvenience, please let me know."
"Well, it's no trouble to us but the problem lies in the seating capacity. If you like, you can have another team."
"I am so indebted to you, Mr. Hartford. Two teams from us then. I am so sorry if we are being a nuisance."
Ryan stayed silent for a nano second and asked, "What about the invitation you wanted to invite your principal? "
"Invitation? What invitation!?" Kate found his words confusing her.
