"Where have I seen him?"

She rolled to her left on bed. "That stare seemed so familiar. It was electrifying. Is there even a word as 'electrifying'?" She rolled to her right.

"This is called 'Utter Stupidity.' But why cannot I get him off my head!" Kate hugged the pillow and hid her face in it in despair for a while.

That was when things made sense to her. This was the guy who had been in the adjacent desk to her at the Olympiad Examination!

The guy that had scared her to death as he had asked the invigilators for extra sheets.

Kate who had been completely green on the subject had extra sheets with her and she couldn't believe that a guy could finish all the blank sheets provided by the invigilators! In disbelief her eyes had turned at him. He had not been in uniform, but in casual; in a perfectly fitted red t-shirt.

That condescending glance he had for Kate's awestruck face had made her sick that day. She had turned back to her paper, resting her head on her left hand. Until the time was up Kate had written everything she knew. She hadn't wanted him to underestimate her.

"It's him, then. Ryan Hartford. I know you now," Kate made a mental note of the guy while murmuring this.

A/N:

The protagonist here is Katherine Green. Her preferred name is Kate.

I had to change the name 'Kristene' because in #UnsungMelodies she is the protagonist.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
