I was walking along the path just minding my own business, my head was down as I was sniffing and looking for food from pathetic humans kind enough to give me food, I was a wolf/(d/b) mix, as I lifted my head slightly a drop of water hit my snout making me sneeze. "I hate sneezing." Looking up I saw a kid look at me in awe, "shit er, woof?" They giggle yanking on their mother's sleeve.
The kid pointed to me, "it talked momma!" I shook my silky fur as I sat down, I tilted my head and barked, I sniffed the girl as she giggled petting me.
The mother crouched down, "well ain't you a beauty." She stroked me as I leaned into their touch, suddenly my stomach growled, I wimped as I pulled away embarrassed. The mother frowned, she took her kid's hand and walked away. My tears fell down as I cried a little, the girl looked back at me sad, that was before the mother went into a baker.
I sat outside as kids walked past and pet me, after a short wait the woman came back out, I tilted my head confused as the kid brought something to me, she placed a bag in front of me and backed away to her mother side once more as they began walking away. Sniffing the bag I noticed they got me food. I barked happily at them as I scarfed the food down, it was the first thing I've eaten since I escaped that mad lab.
The rain started coming down heavy now so I ran into an alleyway to seek shelter if I remembered right there should be a place where I could sleep peacefully, getting there I settled down for the night. I awoke to a growl, opening my eyes I saw a Great Dane, it clearly didn't look after its self, I growled back telling them to back off. They pounced on me ripping my nice silky coat filling it with blood, I growl out as I go for their neck, bitting and keeping a good grip on their neck as they tried to free themselves.
They bit my back digging their paws into my stomach, barking viciously I kicked them off me, standing I crouched warning them, they went to go for me again before they could get me however I sank my teeth into their neck and got them onto the floor, the whimpered out trying to get me off them. I clawed at their muzzle as they managed to kick me off them, they ran off into the night whining, I barked at their retreating figure. Once they were gone I collapsed to the floor panting heavily.
