Another thing, I've changed Matt's last name for he doesn't want us to use their last names and I respect that.
(First day at school)
(Y/n) sat in the back of her (parents/guardian's) car as they drove to school, she was bouncing up and down as she looked out the window, they pulled into a school and the adult opened her door as she hopped out thanking them. "Now go and have fun with your friends alright? When I pick you up I want to here all about your day, Ok?" They asked.
The little girl nodded, "sure thing! Bye!" Waving the kid ran off to go and make friends. Walking into her class the teacher introduced herself then told her to go and make some friends before lesson. Looking around she saw a kid the far corner of the room scribbling into a colouring book with markers and pencils. The little girl stopped in front of his desk, "Hello!" She greeted, the kid looked up and smiled at her.
"Hi!" He nodded to a seat next to him, "want to colour in with me?" He asked as he pulled out a chair for the girl, nodding enthusiastically she took a seat next to him and began to colour. "I'm Matt by the way! What's your name?" With a big grin he stuck out his hand for her to shake.
She grinned back and took his hand as the both shook hands stupidly as they giggled, when they stopped the girl replied, "my names (Y/n), I like you Matt! Wanna be friends?" He gave her a toothy grin, nodding.
(Primary school) (Y/n) and Matt laughed as they played in the play ground, "hey no fair! You cheated." Edd yelled out to his two best friends as he caught up to them as (Y/n) and Matt stood next to each other.
"Nuh uh. We won, you lost." She told him as she waved a finger at him like the sassy little girl she was, Matt crossed his arms as he agreed.
"No! You two cheated you tripped me up then ran! That's unfair!" He told the two as he looked at them upset.
"Stop being a rotten egg, Edd. You lost we won." Matt said standing his ground. Edd huffed and slouched muttering a 'whatever'. (Y/n) and Matt looked at each other then smiled. Suddenly they both tackled Edd into a hug as he screamed in surprise.
"We're sorry, Edd. We love you!" They shouted at the same time. Edd smiled and he hugged the two back.
"Love you both too!"
(Secondary school/high school)
Me, Matt and Edd walked together to school every morning. We met Tom and Tord at school as they lived close to one another and it was quicker for them to get their before us. Matt came for me first then we went to get Edd, then we walked to school.
However there has been this one girl and her friend that has been starting to call me nasty and unkind names, she spread rumors about me and always poked fun at me. She even started to wait for me out side my house waiting for to come out so she could egg both me and Matt, so since she started doing that I told Matt to go to school with out me and to get Edd on his own telling them I'd meet them at school.
I slept less, I ate less, I spoke less, I interacted less, my self-conscious went down, my pride went down, my popularity went down and worst of all, me and Matt grew apart. It got so bad that now he doesn't even seem to acknowledge me, doesn't even greet me, he doesn't even look my way.
And that killed me inside.
The girl that hated me grew closer to him, got more popularity her pride went threw the roof and every day of my life she was there to mock me for my fails.
I was currently sat outside at break time sat under a tree where all of us used to hang out at, I was sat on a branch as I looked at a small scrap book of me and the gang I took everywhere. A sigh escaped my lips as I thought back to all the good times, I checked the time and saw the bell was about to go. I didn't care though and stayed in the tree, as I the bell rang everyone went to lesson but I stayed where I was, it was only drama I was missing out on, a subject I used to love and go to every day, both me and Matt did it and it was great. But now I just stay in the tree where old memories float around, both good and bad, mostly good.
Suddenly I heard voices right under me, "yeah, I heard that Matt was going to ask (enemy's name) out on a date. Apparently he's had the hugest crush on her for awhile now." Hear that? That was the sound of my heard shattering into tiny pieces, tears filled my vision as my eye sight grew blurry, tears dripped from my face and onto the scrapbook. The girls talked some more then walked off, I guessed to lesson.
After hiding in the tree for the rest of the day, the last bell rang out and I dashed for home, hoping to avoid everyone, luck wasn't on my side at all today though and I was tripped, my face smacked in the floor as I gripped my nose and sat up on the floor, pulling my hand back I saw blood. "Well ain't you pathetic, who do you think you are? Running around thinking you own the place huh? Your a massive bitch and I hope you burn in hell!" The girl spat, looking up I saw it was (enemy's name).
I rolled my eyes and stood wiping my nose on my jacket then swung my bag back over my shoulder, "firstly, I think I am (Y/n), second I clearly don't own the place, I don't think I'd want to having to clean up all the mess you and your boyfriends make during school, you wonder why you got HIV but you know that you got it off Kristen after you shagged in the supply closet last month." Everyone gasped as a crowd grew around us. "Another thing, you think your a princess because you've got friends, what you don't know is that when you're not around their constantly saying how much of a bitch you are." A girl pipped up.
"That's not true!" I rolled my eyes again.
"Shut up, karen." Looking back at (enemy's name) I glare, "oh and do I need to mention about how last weekend you told your friends you were sick with the flew but you were actually out partieing over in London sleeping with different guys?" Smirking at her she stood, face red from embarrassment. She tried to stutter out a reply. I mimicked her then laughed, "sorry hun but you ain't got nothing on me. Love ya and leave ya." I then turned on my heel and strut away a satisfied smirk on my face as the crowd cheers.
Once I was away from everyone and I was sure it was safe I release a breath of air. The adrenaline left my system and I leaned against a wall near my house, "I didn't know you had it in you, (Y/n)" A voice laughed happily, I gasped as I spun around as I saw Matt. "Long time no see hey old friend." He smiled warmly. He pulled me into a hug and I instantly hug back.
"I missed you so much you have no idea." I whisper as he nuzzles my neck.
He suddenly pulled back, he scrapped the back of his neck as he tried to avoid my eyes, I tilted my head, confused. "Heh, there's um. There's something I've been waiting to tell you for the longest time now." He laughed nervously as he blushed, "but um.. I've had the hugest crush on you for ages now, I love you so much and I was wondering if perhaps you maybe might want to consider going on a date with me?" He was so awkward it was hard not to laugh.
He slumped forward once he heard me laugh, "your such a goof of course I'll go on a date with you, I've liked you forever now! Actually just today I got told you like (enemy's name) and in was heart broken, but knowing you like me now is mind blowing." I smiled at him as he looked at me surprised and over the moon with joy.
"Really?! No joke?" He asked frantically, I smiled.
"I, (Y/n) (L/n), will go on a date with you, Matt Hardy." He laughed happily as he picked me and and swung me around with joy. I screamed with laughter. He sat me back down on the floor and pecked my lips.
