looked off into the distance with a cup of coffee,(or other hot beverage) sighing I pulled my jacket closer to me, I was sat on a cliff, far from any humans. Gazing at the dark midnight sky littered with beautiful stars, the moon in front of me as if observing me. I sighed and smiled, "Hi, (Y/n). Thought you would be here." I voice spoke out against the silent night.

Whipping my head towards the sounds I saw my Boyfriend, Edd. I waved, "hey Edd, nice to see you again. So how's life?" I asked as he sat beside me as we both laid our eyes upon the night sky.

"Life's good. An old friend just moved back in and Tom isn't fond of him, so you can guess how that went down when I told him he was moving back into his old room, which just had to be Tom's room. So he got mad and walked out haven't seen him since. But you know what he's like, he'll be back." Edd ranted as he slumped forward slightly.

"Hey no need to be upset, Tom's at mine at the moment as everyone he went to were, and I quote, 'fuckin weird'." I smiled as I chuckle a little,  Edd laughed along with me. I looked over at him as he looked at me.  I smiled at him.

"Seems like something he would say." He grins, he pulled me into a sideways hug, "tell him to come home whenever he wants, but tell him I miss him." I nodded.

"Sure." I looked back at the stars.

"I love you (Y/n). Always have always will." Edd whispered as he hugged me close.

"Love you too." I looked at him and kissed him cheek. I sipped on my coffee and gazed at the moon once more. I roar suddenly broke out throughout the forest my home resides. I jumped slightly as I stood up careful to not fall off the cliff. Edd followed my lead and stood beside me.

We looked at each other, "(Y/n) wait do-" I didn't hear the rest of what he said as he sprinted into the forest. I knew who that belonged to and I wanted to make sure everything was alright. Coming across a path of trees that where ripped up from the ground. I saw blood smeared on the trees. I could here Edd yelling for me to stop behind me but I ignored him and continue to search for the creature who caused this destruction.

I heard a growl as the ground shook beneath my feet. I braced myself as I gazed around looking for the creature, slowly it stepped out from the shadow of nearby trees. It was easily 12ft with its black scales and purple horns emerging from its head.  A tail whipped behind the creature as its one black eye pierced through me,  looking into my soul.

Just as the creature was about to take another step forward and pounce onto me, Edd called out my name from the distance and the creature froze looking to the sound of him, I gasped as the creature stomped its way over to Edd the ground shaking with each step. "No!" I yelled trying to get the creatures attention. I threw a rock at its back but all it did was flick its tail so it bounced off and flew towards me. Gasping I barely had time to duck out the way.

The creature began to make its way over to Edd and I quickly rushed forward and ran in front of the beast,  putting my hands in front of myself as I glared up into the creatures eye. "Stop,  don't hurt him he didn't do anything to you!" I yell,  trying to get the creature to realize Edd wasn't a threat. It simply grunted as it swung a sharp clawed paw down towards me and swatted me away as if I was some annoying fly. My back slammed against a tree and I was winded as I gasped out screwing my eyes shut and biting my lip to stop a cry of pain from escaping, the creature roared once more as it  began to stomp its way to Edds location in the forest.

I huffed as I tried to stand, my legs tremble as I lay a hand on the tree I hit. Filling my lungs with air I looked over at the creatures back far with in the forest. Straightening my back I stood on my own then pushed my body to take steps forward. Slowly gaining strength once more my pace picked up and I was soon bolting it towards the creature.
