       Your no celebrity, you’re a simple girl working a normal job. So some people might wonder how you caught the eyes of Paul Wesley, well your bother is an actor. Ian Somerhalder. Your brother have introdued you to Paul and everyone else on the cast of the vampire diaries as well. You practically knew everyone. You were very close to some of the cast like Claire Holt (I love her so much), Candice King and even Daniel Gillies (He’s super funny). But you found yourself attracted to Paul, you and him had took it slow at first. You both didn’t want to rush anything especially because if something did happen between the both of you Ian and Paul’s relationship would never go back to how it was. Ian is very protective of you. Very. You’re his little sister after all.
This over protectiveness have now gone down a bit, since you and Paul got engaged and you were pregnant. You were on your fifth month of pregnancy, and it’s the premier of TVD’s last season. Paul told you that you did not have to come but you wanted to support both him and your brother. Besides it’s the last season how can you not go. So you were dressed in your designer dress, your make-up is on point and you had short heals on. Paul was in a suit, his hair styles and you were ready to go.
You arrived at the event and took photos with Paul, you had a hand on your bump. Paul had a hand around your waist or back at almost all times. Ian and Nikki came after you guys did, you heard Ian’s voice before you saw him. You turned around to see him and Nikki coming your way, hand in hand. You smiled at the couple and gave them a hug.

“How are doing today?” Ian asked you looking at your baby bump.

“I’m okay, not as tired as last week.” You said to your older brother, last week for you was very tiring for some reason. You were just always in bed and resting, but this week has been considerably better.

“That’s good.” Ian said and gave you a kiss on the forehead. You had to move on then for the boys to have their interviews. You and Nikki stood back a bit talking with each other, she was telling you about when she was pregnant with her and Ian’s daughter. Which wasn’t that long ago. You were glad that both your baby and Ian’s daughter will be near each other in age. It would be lovely for them to grow up together.

“… yeah I heard it helps did it help with you?” You asked Nikki as you talked about a tip you heard from some of your friends, a lot of people had a lot of things to say about what helped and what not, that you sometimes got overly confused and distracted.

“Yeah it actually did” Nikki said and you nodded.

“What are you two talking about?” Paul asked coming to your side, his arm wraps themselves around you. You had a feeling that it was an unconscious thing that he does now, you don’t know if he realizes he does it or not. You smiled up at your fiancé.

“Just exchanging war stories.” Nikki said.
“Yeah, the pains of being pregnant.” You said and shared a look with your sister in law.

“I wanted to ask, did you chose a date for the wedding?” Nikki asked you both, arching an eyebrow. You and Paul shared a look, your wedding has been a hot topic. He was asked about it and about the baby a lot today. You were hoping to do it before you got pregnant but that obviously didn’t happen, so now you had to wait until you gave birth and for your son or daughter to be a bit older to actually have time to plan a wedding and for you to leave him with a family member for the honeymoon. “You know Ian and I will have no problem with taking care of your baby while you’re on your honeymoon.”

“Yeah, we have a few dates on mind.” Paul said, and Ian joined you three. All four of you then started walking to the inside of the building. “We’re just waiting to see how things go with this little one.”

“I still can’t believe my youngest sister is pregnant, and is engaged.” Ian said and you smiled at him and took his hand in yours and gave it a squeeze.

“Come on now Ian don’t get all sappy… at least not now.” You said knowing that your hormones could act up any minute. “No need for e to cry today.”

“Fine, fine, but I will when you and Paul come over next week.” Ian said and you nodded with your brother. You found your assigned seats very easily.

“Here let me help you.” Paul said softly in your ear, you shivered at the closeness of his mouth. Even with you being five months pregnant he still manages to make your legs turn to jelly and your body to shiver and shudder. Paul helped you sit down, and sat on your left while Ian was on your right and Nikki on his. You saw the rest of the cast as they came in, and greeted them. They all asked about how your pregnancy was going. Under both Ian’s and Paul’s instructions you were not allowed to stand up to greet anyone. Everyone was very understanding, of course.

       The room dimmed down and the screening of the first episode began, your hand was in Paul’s on your knee. You were very proud of Paul and Ian and everyone else as well. They did an amazing job. It was almost the end when you felt a bit pain, it wasn’t unusual so you didn’t panic. It was more of discomfort than anything really. You unconsciously squeezed Paul’s hand, he looked at you and saw our frowned eyebrows and immediately became concerned.

“Are you okay?” He whispered in your ear, you looked at him and gave him a tight smile.

“Yeah, just a bit of ache, no need to worry.” You said back your voice lowered not wanting to disturb anyone or better yet trying not to make Ian hear you.

“Are you sure? We can leave if you want.” Paul said and you can see and hear the worry leaking out of him. His eyes were giving you a look over as if he would be able to see the pain and see if there was something wrong with you.

“No need to, it’ll pass.” You said and gave him a genuine smile, you were feeling a tad better now you had to admit. As you said before it’s a usual thing.

“Fine, but tell me if you need to go.” You gave him a nod and a smile. You leaned your head on his shoulder and he kissed your head, he gave your hand a soft squeeze. He was a bit worried still, but he trusted that if you needed to go you’d tell him.

       After the episode was finished, everyone was going to the after party, Paul pulled you away from everyone. He took you into a remotely empty hallway to talk to you without having to shout. He stood in front of you and looked you in the eye.

“(y/n) are you absolutely sure you don’t need to go home?” Paul asked you seriously. “We don’t have to go to the after party, there was already a party on the last day on set.”

“Paul, baby I’m absolutely sure.” You said your eyes not leaving his, to show him how honest you are. “I’m fine, I wouldn’t risk it and besides this is the last hurrah, you know? Who knows when you’ll see any of those guys next? Never mind all of them.”

“Okay, we’ll go but anything happen you tell me or Ian, okay?” Paul asked you and you nodded, he leaned in and gave you a soft kiss on the lips making you smile. After you two pulled away you turned around to join the others.

       Your hand was laced with Paul’s as you joined the others. As you said nothing happened all night, you were doing perfectly well. Paul managed to enjoy his night despite his worrying, you even managed to convince him to have a couple of drinks but he didn’t have any more than that. By the end of the night you were tired. When you returned home all you wanted was to go to bed and sleep for days on end. Paul had to help you unzip your dress, and take of your shoes seeing as you couldn’t. You were very thankful for him to be by your side through this pregnancy and very glad to have him by your side until the end of your pregnancy. You didn’t know what you were having, seeing as you both agreed to keep it as a surprise. You did have a few names picked up for if it was a boy or if it was a girl, so that was great. You found yourself wondering how Paul would be as a dad if he’s this protective of you now, that baby with be locked in a house never to leave until they were thirty. You smiled at the thought as you fell asleep with Paul beside you, one of the things you missed doing was cuddling up into his side. It was all worth in the end, you knew it. A piece of you and Paul is growing inside you and you couldn’t be happier.
