It had been weeks since Javier had gotten home and Catalina was doing her best to stay away from him.  Everything time Javi would initiate something between them, Catalina would fall for his charm but before anything could really start she would break away. It took everything in her to reject her husband's needs but she couldn't help but think of what happened between her and Sebastian. She couldn't bring herself to let Javier make love to her, knowing that she had slept with his best friend even if it wasn't totally mutual.

Catalina would fall asleep at night thinking about what happened and it wasn't the sex she remembered it was the aftermath. She would reminisce on how he threatened her not to tell Javi and how she screamed at him.

She would find herself hiding away from Javier and crying until she fell asleep. To be honest she was getting tired of letting Sebastian control her. He'd had control over her since the day they'd met.

She was getting sick of his control. She couldn't even talk to Javier because of him and she was determined to change that, but she had to do the right thing and tell him what happened.

      But how...?  Was the question.

She decided she would tell him after dinner tomorrow night.

It was the morning of and Carolina's nerves were already eating at her. Javier had gone to work early this morning so she had the house to herself, besides the help that is.

She made sure to tell him to be home for dinner at Seven and made sure the chief made Javier's favourite.  She wanted things to be perfect for tonight , well at least until she told him what happened.  She didn't know how he was going to react but she was trying to prepare for the worst.

She knew Javier was a reasonable man and hoped things would go as smooth as possible after she gave him the news.

After all ,it was til death do us part...right?

The day went by to fast for Catalina's liking, because before she knew it she only had mere hours before dinner was to be served.

She quickly showered and changed before making her way to the kitchen to make sure everything was in order.

As the table was being set Javier walked in the door and he didn't seem to be in a satisfactory mood. Seeing him made her nerves just from her stomach to her throat.  Her hands fiddling in her lap to keep them from visibly shaking.

She askes him how his day was and he murmured his response, Which lead him into the course in which his day took him. To her it seemed to have gone from bad to worse. They spent the course of their meal talking about his day.

After the dinning wear was removed from the table they made their way to the parlor for night tea and brandy.

Here and now was when she had to tell him or she never would and she would hate herself for it.

She sat down on the couch next to Javier and tried to gather her words in her mind before she began.

She was lost in her thoughts when she felt Javier's hand on her leg. She turned to him, he smiled and leaned down to capture her lips In a kiss but she turned away from him. He scowled at her but he wasn't going to let that stop him so he started kissing her neck. She relaxed into him a little bit and Javier grinned against her neck. He pulled her into his lap, without pulling his lips away from her soft skin. He continued his trail down her neck, moving the material of her dress down revealing more skin. She moaned and leaned her head back to give him more access.
