A/N: Photo on the side is James! Enjoy :D

Darriel tried to think but it was so hard trying to do so when his lips and tongue were busy exploring the uncharted territory. She tasted so sweet that he couldn't even try to describe it. His wolf was begging him to take her but he chose not to listen to him. He didn't want to make any move that might ruin his chance to be with her.

Darriel stopped kissing Charlyze but his hands were still firmly cupping the sides of her face. He could see that she had a glazed expression on her face, meaning that she was affected by the kiss as he anticipated.

"Did you say something before we kissed?" he asked.

"I uh ... yes?" was all that she could say. Her breathing were uneven and her heart was beating frantically. He could see that she had a difficult time gathering her thoughts and he was pleased.

"You said about someone smelled bad?"

"Oh.. no.. someone smelled wrong. Not human, not a werewolf. I am afraid it was a ghost."

Darriel stiffened. "Did it hurt you? Was it solid?"

"He gave me this pie. Sort of a welcome to the neighborhood pie.

Darriel took the pie plate and sniffed. Under normal circumstances that would seem weird but she trusted what he was doing.

"Vampire."

"Vampire doesn't exist." She was shaken.

"My father told me that they used to exist but after a war between vamps and werewolves about 300 years ago, they were wiped out. I thought they were extinct because they're no report about any sighting of them at all."

"So you're sure about him being a vampire?

"I am not sure because I' ve never heard about them anymore. I definitely never smelled them." He took a sniff again. "There are 2 different scents on this pie plate. If there are 2 vamps, that means they probably have a coven." He paused before continued with, " You need to come with us."

"Who is us?" She was shocked and eyed him distrusfully, " I am not going anywhere with you. This is my house."

"I have linked my Beta, James. My guys will be here in twenty minutes. Pack lightly. You have to come with us..." He stated as a matter-of-factly.

"You can't make me! I have a pack! They will protect me!" She was annoyed with his suggestion. How dare he instructed her on what to do like a petty wolf when she already had all the freedom of a normal human being.

"Charlyze." He said her name menacingly making her wolf cowered in fear.

Charlyze lowered her head in a mixture of fright, shame and sadness. Finally she was with a hot guy, alone, having a grand time watching a silly movie but he had to blew it. Why couldn't things be more simple? Why did he have to be an alpha.

"Dial your Alpha's number for me Charly. I will have a word with him and he'll understand." He ordered gruffly.

She grabbed her phone on the coffee table dialled Alpha Hans' number and shoved it hard in Darriel's hand. Darriel chuckled and whispered in her ear, " do as you please right now but please no tantrum throwing when my guys are here." He gave her a light feathery kiss on her forehead and quickly strolled towards the kitchen, clearly wanting some privacy when talking to her Alpha.

After about 5 minutes Darriel came back, half stomping. His face was flushed with anger. He gave her handphone back and slumped on the sofa with eyes closed.

Charlyze bit her lower lip, calculating whether or not she ask what they talked about when suddenly her Alpha mind-link her, Charlyze, are you and Alpha Darriel involved romantically?
