16. Why Leprachauns Wear Green

"Okay before everyone leaves, I have some news!" Mayra calls out as we wrap up the last photoshoot of the day. Surprisingly, she got over her anger towards me pretty damn fast.

We all circle around her and she rubs her hands together and smiles around at all of us.

"Okay so since Madison dropped out of the magazine, due to obvious reasons" she starts while motioning towards me and Jack. I roll my eyes. It's not my fault he wanted this. "There will be a new member to the American Eagle Model Family! We're having a mandatory work dinner at Fanzo tonight at 7:30, so be there, or lose 15% of your paycheck." She smiles and waves us off as we all stand there furrowing our eyebrows.

"Can she even do that?" Savannah asked as she walked towards me.

"I don't know but it's bullshit" I roll my eyes again.

"I'm gonna go change and I'll meet you at the car?" Jack asks and I nod. He kisses the top of my head before jogging towards his dressing room. Me and Savannah went first so we're already ready to go.

She smirks at me and motions to Jack. "So when did it happen??" She smiles at me.

"Last Sunday" I smile and she smirks.

"Stassie! Kelsey!" She calls them over and my eyes go wide. I don't even know if Jack wants to tell people about us.. well I mean, if he didn't, he wouldn't show so much affection in front of everyone, right? Yeah.

They walk over and Savannah squeals.
"They're official!!" She whisper yells and the girls automatically squeal with her and hug me.

"How's the sex??" Kelsey asks and I narrow my eyes at her.

"What makes you think we've had sex already?" I cross my arms over my chest.

"Come on. You're Jaide and he's Jack. Y'all are both sex driven" Stassie laughs and I roll my eyes.. again.

"Fine. It was fucking amazing" I give in and giggle making the girls jump and scream.

"Whatcha talkin about?" Sammy asks as him and Jack walk up to us.

"Nothi-" I start but fucking Savannah cuts me off.

"Why leprechauns wear green!" Savannah panics and it's obvious that's not what we were talking about. We burst out laughing cuz honestly that was random as fuck.

"Alright ready to go baby?" Jack asks once everyone's laughter dies down. I nod my head and hug the girls and Sammy bye before locking fingers with Jack and walking towards the elevator. I still can't believe that if we don't go to this stupid dinner we'll get 15% knocked off of our paychecks. Like what the hell.

"I just wanna stay home and cuddle with you!!" I complain as I get in the passenger side of Jack's car.

"Just cuddle?" Jack smirks and I smack his arm. "Just kidding baby, well kinda" he chuckles and starts driving to Fanzo's Restaurant.

"Do you think it's a guy or girl?" I ask randomly. Jack looks over at me.

"Hopefully a girl because I don't need any assholes checking out my baby." His jaw clenches and so do my legs. Fuck.

"I want it to be a guy so no one looks at my man" I say in a playful way before bringing his hand up to my lips and kissing it. He smiles cheekily at me as we pull into the parking lot of the semi-fancy restaurant.

Jack parks and then locks the door like he always does so I can't get out until he opens my door for me. I hate that he does that but I love it at the same time if that makes any sense..

"Thank you" I thank him as he shuts my door after I get out.

We walk into the restaurant hand in hand and head to the long table reserved for us. Looks like we're the last ones to get here. I look around and my eyes meet the new models. It's a girl. Damnit.

"Jack! Jaide! This is Corrine!" Mayra introduces us. (Catherine😫😭)

"Hi I'm Jaide, and this is my boyfriend Jack" I smile and she smiles back. God damnit she's fucking hot. Jack's of course gonna drool over her.

"I know who you are" she laughs. I look at her confused. Maybe Mayra talked about us before we got here?

"I'm sorry, but how?" I ask still confused.

"I was there for your baby shower." She smiles at me and instantly all heads snap in my direction.
