She had locked herself in the bathroom. Or so she thought, she hadn't realised she hadn't locked it properly, but the tears and Allison's voice was ringing through her ears. She stumbled through her teary vision to the draw, she hadn't been in this draw in so long. As she pulled the drawer open it made the tears fall harder, she was doing so well. And now. Now, Emily had relapsed. She pulled out the blades and began attacking her innocent skin. Allison's voice was still ringing through her head. She didn't hear the door open. She didn't hear the footsteps or him shouting her name.

He felt her pain as he got closer to her, he pushed the door open slowly. He could hear her heartbeat, it was beating so faintly. "oh my god, Emily" he crouched down, placing his hand over the open wounds, trying to stop them bleeding out. "Please stay with me" he pleaded, as he lifted her up. He drove her to the hospital, after tying a towel around her arm to stop the blood. He burst through the hospital doors, the nurses took her away. "No, let me come with her! Please!" he pleaded, but his mother held him back.

"They need to do their job," she said, holding him as he sat waiting. She would have done the surgery herself but her feelings would cloud her judgement. It was better for her to stay with her son. "She will be fine," she said, pushing his hair out of his face. He whipped some tears away, there wasn't much else she could say. The only thing he wanted to hear was that Emily was okay.

"Is she okay?" he shot out of his seat as the doctor approached them.

"She is. And, she's awake" he said, "she will be fine and we can offer-" the doctor was cut off by Scott running off to the room. Mellissa smiled and listen to what the doctor had to say.

"Scott" she breathed as the door opened and he hugged her.

"Emily..." he trailed off as he sat on the side of her bed. She knew what he wanted to know. So, she told him the truth. All about Allison, what she had said to her, how she was acting around him and her.

"I just... I've been feeling so... down. And, she was saying such awful things, it just got too much for me" Emily sighed, she wasn't going to cry. She had spent too many tears over Allison.

"I would never leave you. Never. Allison and I, we are over, for good. I love you. And only you." He said as he cupped her face, "well you and my mom" he smiled. Emily laughed, looking down at her arm, which was bandaged. "Promise me?" he asked, she nodded. "Emily, look at me," he said, he wasn't going to force her, she needed to do this herself.

Emily looked up slowly, Scott didn't need to tell her he needed to hear her say it. "I promise, to you and myself, that I won't do it again." Scott smiled, they were so close that she could see tears in his eyes, "Never, I'm never going to do it again" she repeated, tears coming to her eyes as she kissed him. "I love you, Scott."

"Promise me you'll come to me when you need to, all your problems, I want to hear" Scott whipped the tear from her cheek and she whipped one off his as she nodded.

"I promise"

After a day of her being monitored, she was released. Scott took her back to his house, she didn't want to go home just yet. And Scott was still worried about her. They sat curled up on the sofa watching Twilight. Emily wanted a good chick flick, "you know, that's not how the whole werewolf thing goes" Scott said, as they watched Jacob change.

"Are you going to do that all the way through?" Emily asked, looking up at him. He grinned and placed a small kiss on her lips.

By the end of the second film, they were fast asleep in each other's arms. When Mellissa came home, she switched off the TV and covered them with a blanket. Before she went to sleep, she checked on them and found that she was watching them, she knew that they were going to be together forever. And she was going to have a serious word with Allison if she ever saw her.
