Chapter 14: Home Sweet Home

After escaping the prison island Julia, Dawn, Kat, Jermaine, Drew, Angel Cakes, Creampuff, Doomfist, Kitty, and De Anté found their way to their homes. The Wild Cats went back to their home and found the place a mess. "What the heck?!" Dawn ran to her immediately after she saw the mess. Everyone else went their rooms and also found it a mess.

They all met at the computer to find out who did this. "Alright, let's find out who caused all this destruction." said Dawn. She went onto the security camera files and saw Invisi Kitty was the one doing all of this damage she broke things piece by piece. Then she spoke to the camera knowing they'd see this.

"Hey Wild Cats! It's Invisi Kitty here, now obviously you can see that I have destroyed your living space. But I didn't do it for fun, well kinda, anyway I did it to get this!" Invisi Kitty was holding the next gem in her hands. "Turns out that the next gem was hidden in Julia's room. What a coincidence! 2 down 3 to go. Oh, and Dawn I hope you don't mind if I borrow the map to find the next three. Good luck finding them now! Invisi Kitty out." Then she got down from the wall and hit the camera down and cracked it with her whip.

"Ugh!! That little snake!! She took the only thing that we have to find the rest of the gems! What are we gonna do?!" Dawn was extremely angry at the event at hand. "We have to get it back." said Dawn. "But dude, we don't even know where Psychopath's lair even is. How are we gonna get it back?" Drew asked Dawn. "I don't know but, we're gonna what we can to get that map back. We can't let Psychopath win you guys, who's with me?" Dawn put her hand in the middle.

"I'm with you 110%" Julia said putting her hand on top. "I don't know what Psychopath wants with these gems but I will do whatever it takes to protect my home." Julia said. "We've been friends since you found me in in that ditch. I'm with you all the way." said Jermaine putting his hand on top of Julia's hand. "What the heck. I'm in." said Drew coming into the circle. Everyone was looking at Kat. She crossed her arms looking at them like this was a terrible idea. "Ugh, fine but if I die I blame it on all of you." said Kat as she put her hand on top of Drew's. They put on their superhero outfits on was were ready for action.

Still in the HQ

"Ok I got one of Kat's inventions and she said it should identify where Invisi Kitty's location is." Dawn said. "Just from a fingerprint?" Cheetah asked. "Yep! She majored in technology in college. She may be happy most of the time but she's pretty smart." Dawn scanned the fingerprint and let the machine do it's thing.

*Beep Beep Beep*

"It's done! Let's see where she's hiding." Dawn let the machine calculate where Invisi Kitty's location is. " Aha! 3632 Elmore St. in.... New York City?" Dawn read. "That's like 11 states away from California! How the heck are gonna get there?!" Kat asked. "We fly! Don't you guys have a jet?" Julia asked Kat. "Yeah but that jet only goes for 10 states we'll have to ask someone I know in Pennsylvania if they can fuel up a jet. Pack your bags we're going to NYC!

The airport

6:39am

"Drake!" Kat yelled. "Hey. Here for the Wild Cat jet?" Drake asked. "As always." " Where are we going this time?" asked Drake. "The big Apple! We're gonna find Invisi Kitty's address and steal back the map to find the rest of the gems." Kat explained to him. "Hold up. Pay up." Drake said putting his hand out. "You're lucky you're cute, or else I'd hit you in the face." Kat kissed him on the cheek then gave him $50. "$50!?" Drake yelled. "You want less?" Kat asked. Drake said nothing. "That's what I thought." Kat said getting on the plane. Everyone was on and we're off to NYC.

Pennsylvania

"Ok, rise and shine people we need to fuel up, then we're back on track." said Drake "*Yawn* New York?" Kat yawned. "Nope, need to fill up this jet then, it's New York." Drake got out of the plane to fill it up with gas. The jet took the gas, Drake paid the man and was ready to take off. *Grumble grumble* "Ooh, I knew I shouldn't had Mexican last night." Drake ran to the bathroom as fast as he can.

"DRAKE! Is the jet filled up yet?! Drake?" Kat yelled. "He went to the bathroom. Looked like he had Taco Bell last night." said Julia. "Ugh, mexican food can seriously do you no good. That's why i'm on a diet." said Dawn getting out of her bunk. "Wow, you're on a diet big deal. It's not like you're gonna get skinnier by the day." Jermaine mentioned. "I'm not on a diet to be skinnier, i'm trying to be healthy nowadays, besides, every 2 years I reward myself by eating all the junk food I want." Dawn smiled. Everyone groaned, then laughed. "Sorry people I had to use-" Drake got cut off by everyone on the plane. "We Know!" they all said.

New York City

1:49pm

They finally flew down to the JFK Airport where all the private jets are kept.Then they went to the address that Kat's device led them to. "All right Invisi Kitty time to get back what you stole." Dawn said walking towards the orphanage. "Wait! People will get suspicious if we get in that orphanage if we get inside with our superhero outfits on. We need to change." said Jermaine. "Right, good thinking, Wild Cats change!" Dawn pressed a button on her belt and she was back to normal. "Thanks again Kat for designing these awesome belts, and the little scratch to make sure that we're wild, I love it!" Dawn complemented. "Thanks, I really hated having to change so-" Kat got cut off by the boys and Julia. "Yo! We gotta go!" Julia, Drew and Jermaine said. "Right! In we go." Dawn headed straight for the orphanage.

Inside the orphanage was a lady on her computer and then rooms with numbers on them. "Excuse me?" The lady looked away from the computer to see who said that. "Sign here and the room you're visiting." the lady sounded like a tired out robot. "No um, we're here to ask you a question." Kat said. "Shoot." the lady stopped whatever she was doing on the computer to see what they wanted. "Have you seen this girl around here?" Kat held up a picture of Invisi Kitty. "Look, I know halloween is coming in a couple of months, but I don't need to get in on one of your pranks." the lady went back on the computer. "She's rude." Dawn whispered. The Wild had a conversation

Kyndall came out of her niece and nephew's room and saw Julia. Julia saw her too. Kyndall ran for the back door. "Kyndall?" said Julia. Julia ran after her and wondered why she was running away. Probably because she saw a hybrid of a cheetah and a human. "Kyndall wait! It's me Julia!" Julia started to run like a cheetah should. "Ahh!" Kyndall ran faster. "Don't be scared, I know I look bad but you can trust me!" Julia was at full speed and she grabbed Kyndall by the waist.

"I mean, I understand that you got a lot of stuff to do but come on! No need to be rude to some teens and a young adult." Dawn said. They were outside in front of the orphanage. "Hey... where's Julia?" Jermaine mentioned. "Uh-oh." they all said at once.

"AH!!!!" both of girls screamed, Julia couldn't stop running. Then finally, Julia stopped and let Kyndall go. "What's your deal.... Girl?" Kyndall acted as if she didn't know who she was. "Kyndall it's me! Julia, Julia Wattson. You're bff since pre-k! I know I look different but it's me. Look at my eyes." Kyndall looked closer. "Julia? OMG! What happened to you? Did Mr. Victor do this to you?" Kyndall asked.

"I'll tell you all about it, but, I think we should probably get back to the orphanage. Need a lift?" Julia put out her hand, Kyndall took it and got on her back. "Hang on." Julia immediately ran like a cheetah. Kyndall looked down at Julia and then smiled at the fact she was reunited with her best friend once again.
