Chapter 19: Vengeance!

Julia, Kat, Drew, and Jermaine all went to Psychopath's lair and found nothing. The whole place was empty. "Where's Psychopath? As a matter of fact, where did everything go?" Julia asked looking around. "Yeah, looks like Psychopath moved out. Permanently." said Drew. "Guys, look what I found." Jermaine said looking at a secret stairway. "Maybe all of his stuff is down here, somewhere." Julia said turning on a flashlight she found. "Where'd you get the flashlight?" Kat asked. "Found it upstairs. Was the only thing up there." Julia answered.

The team wondered around the narrow brick walls looking for a way out of it. "How'd Psychopath fit all of his treasures through narrow walls like this?" Kat asked touching the walls. The floor started to sink. Walls moved in. "Time to run!" Julia said running. "No fair you're like the fastest out all of us. Let us get on at least." Kat insisted. Julia picked everyone and ran as fast as she could. Then she got out of the room where the walls were closing, into another dark room. "You got the flashlight?" Jermaine asked. "Dropped it in the squeezing room. Guess we'll just have to into the dark. Woah, never mind just hold my hand." Julia said grabbing Jermaine's hand. "How'd you know where my hand was?" Jermaine asked. "I got nightvision, guess my animal is starting to kick in. Hold everyone's hand." said Julia. She could see everything in a green type of vibe. After a couple minutes Julia saw a huge contraption. "Stop. I see something, something big." Julia whispered. The lights turned on. Standing on top of the contraption was the crazy Psychopath himself.

"Good evening contestants. Welcome to tonight's show. "Do or Die!" With my lovely sla- uh assistant Kyndall Knight." Psychopath pulled a rope, it opened a curtain that showed Kyndall in a navy blue game show dress. She looked sick, her darkish blue eyes turned green. "What did you do to her?" Julia asked. "Oh, she's just under my total control." Psychopath answered her. "Here are the rules contestants.

One, there are no using any superpowers in the fight.

Two, face your opponent every time you encounter them.

Three, If you don't defeat your opponent, you'll have to be my slave just like Kyndall over there.

Four, only one winner will be able to face me.

Oh, and Kyndall will spin the wheel (which is rigged) to face your opponent. I'll pull this lever and off you go into the room below.

First up is Jermaine Cooper. Kyndall, spin the wheel please." Psychopath said pushing a button to was what controlling her. Julia picked up on that. "Jermaine, you'll be facing... a kraken," "Pshh easy." Jermaine said crossing his arms. "Underwater, without any chance of getting out. Still up to the task?" Kyndall asked in a robotic voice. "Uhh, I'll do it." Jermaine said with confidence. "No! You might become, one of his slaves. I can't lose you too." Julia said holding him. "Don't worry, I can hold my breath for at least an hour. You'll still get that kiss." Jermaine whispered. Julia giggled. "We don't have all day." Kyndall groaned. Jermaine hugged everyone and nodded to go underwater. "In ya go!" Psychopath pulled the lever. The little circle where he was standing opened and dropped him in a huge empty tank.

"Ok, where's the water?" Jermaine asked himself. Then a huge tv turned on with Psychopath's big eyeball on the screen. "Ugh." Jermaine groaned. "Welcome to the "Tank of Doom"Push that red button to start your test. Good luck. You're gonna need it." The tv went black, then disappeared. Jermaine walked to the red button and was about to push it. Then he gets an iseo of how he's going to kill this monster. (BTW, never ever ever, push the red button. Don't you watch movies?!) The button was pressed. Pounds, and Pounds of dark blue water started to fill the tank, second by second. The tank was finally full., then came the kraken Psychopath talked about. Jermaine swam towards it and punched it's eye. Ink flowed everywhere. Jermaine couldn't see anything but darkness all around him. Then a tentacle came out of nowhere and grabbed him by the waist. Jermaine struggled to get the tentacle off of him. Jermaine then pulled out one of his small knives and cut off the tentacle. The kraken fell. (That tentacle was where it's heart had been moved to.) The tank emptied and Jermaine felt confident in himself. "You may have won this round, boy. But it's not our last." The TV turned off and disappeared again.
