Chapter 15: Why Would You Do This?

Julia ran all the way back to the orphanage with Kyndall on her back then, they were back in a flash. Kyndall ran to her motorcycle, waved goodbye to Julia and revved off into the distance. "There she is. Julia!" Jermaine ran towards Julia and hugged her when he got to her. "Where did you go?" "Did someone take you?" "Do we need to track this person down?" they all asked. "Chill, I just met up with my best friend back in pre-k. She's still the same old Kyndall. Now, did you find Invisi Kitty yet?" Julia asked with her arms crossed. "Not yet, she seems to be moving fast.... Towards a ... sewer? Why would she go into a sewer, as nasty as that place is." Kat said while looking at her device. Julia clapped. "Maybe that's where Psychopath's lair is." Julia said. "Then she'll lead us to the map" Dawn continued. "Then we can continue our gem search" Kat continued. "Find all the gems and then save the world from Psychopath's plan!" the boys finished. "Let's get our map back!" Dawn put her fist up in air and group did the same.

NYC Sewer

10:04pm

"Oof! Im stuffed from that touchdown burrito." Drew held his belly. "Shh! You're gonna get us caught!" Julia whispered. "She's right you know. You know that Psychopath has cameras everywhere." Dawn pointed out. "Sorry but.... *grumble* I gotta go dump!" Drew ran to the other side of the sewer to use the bathroom. "Eww, Drew can smell that from all the way over here!" Kat said pinching her nose. "Guys the door's open! C'mon!" Julia said running into the lair. "Woah! This place is like a museum! How much stuff has this guy stolen?" Julia asked looking around. "Thousands of things that belong to countries around the globe. Artifacts, Jewels, and... the entire beats collection?" Kat picked one of them up off the hanger on the wall. "Wow he's got the latest Beats solo." Kat said looking at one of the headphones. "Focus guys, were here to get our map back, not to shop for headphones." dawn said with her arms crossed.

Everyone started to look for the map to find the gems. "I found it!" Julia pointed up at the highest shelf with Dawn's signature on it. "Yep that's it alright. But how are we gonna get up there?" Dawn asked. Julia started to climb up the wall without her claws. She made it up to the top and grabbed the map. "Great now get down and let's get the heck out of here!" Drew whispered. "Ok." Julia whispered back. Julia let go of the wall and landed with ease. "Let's go." Julia was the last one out and closed the door.

"Now we can go back home and continue to save these gems." Julia said. "Not while I'm around. Give me the map or you'll regret it." Invisi Kitty said on the rooftop. She jumped down and put her hand on her hip. "I believe that map... belongs to me. Hand it over." Invisi Kitty put her hand out. "Never. Were gonna use this map for good, not evil." Dawn said holding back the map. "I LOVE it when you choose hard to grab. Get the map!" Invisi Kitty called upon one of Psychopath's old minions. "Inklings! Julia take the map and run away as far as you can!" said Dawn giving the map to Julia. "Go! We'll hold them off." said Jermaine killing one of the inklings.

Julia ran as fast as she could to get away from the fight happening. "Julia's mine!" Invisi Kitty jumped on a rooftop and ran straight for Julia. She used the fast feature on her suit and ran as fast as Julia could. Julia saw a shadow and looked up while she was running to see what was causing the shadow. Invisi Kitty pounced on Julia and caused her to fall. They both rolled into Times Square.

"I've waited a long time to do this!" Invisi Kitty took the first punch and left Julia with a bleeding mouth. "Not bad, I actually felt that. How 'bout we have a catfight, instead?" Julia pulled out her claws and scratched Invisi Kitty's mask. The scratch marks revealed some of her face. "Ok Princess, you want a catfight I'll give you a catfight." Invisi Kitty pulled her claws and started to swing for Julia's face. Both of them were aiming for the body and face, until Julia scratched off Invisi Kitty's mask completely to reveal Kyndall's face with a scratch at her eye.

"Kyndall? Is that ... you?" Julia asked looking puzzled as if it were a trick. "No it's the tooth fairy. Of course it's me! You think you're the only one living a secret life?! Ever since you double-crossed me. But now ... I can get my revenge by scratching your whole face off!" Kyndall kept swinging for Julia's face and kept going and going and going. "Kyndall, why are you doing this?! You know Psychopath is using you right? He'll never give you what you want. What about your niece and nephew, what will they think if they found out you're working for a villain?" Julia said dodging her attacks. "What do you care about my family?" Kyndall said stopping her hits. "I've met your family, they all look up to you. Do really want their souls to be crushed because you decided to be this way?" Julia asked. "I really don't but, he'll protect me and my family he promised." said Kyndall. "Join us, were like a family that you, could be apart of." Julia put out her hand hoping for a shake. "I'm sorry but my duty goes to Psychopath. I'll let you live ... for now." Kyndall put back on her mask and returned to Psychopath's lair.

"Julia!" The Wild Catts all yelled. "Are you ok?" Jermaine asked her. "Yeah I'm fine just some scratches. But i'm fine." Julia felt weak a little. "C'mon let's go home." Jermaine put Julia's arm around his neck. "What about the map? Did you win?" Julia asked. "They put up a fight but we won in the end. Thank you for being apart of our group, since day one." said Dawn. "No problem. You know my birthday is in 2 months? Can I have an early start?" Julia joked. "Ha! Don't push your luck." Dawn said pushing her slightly.

Psychopath's Lair

3:50 am

"Did you get the map back?" Psychopath asked. "No sir they got away with it." Kyndall replied. Psychopath banged on his desk in anger. "No worries I printed a copy. Now all we need to do is follow these instructions and we'll find the last 3 gems. Oh, and Kyndall for now, rest up. You look tired." said Psychopath waving to the bedroom. "You think I'll just give up Wild Catts? Oh no, *evil chuckle* My plan to take over the world will prevail. Julia will be my second in command, and she'll be my mindless slave along with Kyndall!" *maniacal laugh*

A/N: Kyndall dosen't know what's she's in for!! I've been thinking about making a new book series called "College Rush". IDK what i'm gonna do with it yet but, hopefully it'll be good. As always... LATER HATERS!!
