Chapter 16

As the morning began Carlos slowly woke up to hearing his mother talking with someone.

He got up and began to get dressed and was stopped when he heard Maleficents voice.

He went and stood beside his door and began to listen to the conversation.

"Look Cruella it would be a great chance for all of us to finally get revenge on all of them!" Maleficent said trying to convince Curella to agree to the idea.

"I don't know okay?" Cruella said. "I need Carlos here." The dog obsessed woman said.

"Come on." The horned woman said. "Jafar and Evil Queen have already agreed to it." She stated.

"Really?" Cruella asked not trusting the wicked woman.

"Yes they already agreed and believe it's a great idea!" The wicked woman said. "Plus we would finally get some time without those annoying brats we call our children." She states trying to sway the crazed woman to agree.

"When are we sending them?" Cruella asked.

"Well that's up to those Auradon idiots and whenever they want them but hopefully next week." Maleficent stated.

"I'll think about it." Cruella said.

"Okay." Maleficent said. "Come by my castle tonight I'm gonna explain the whole plan to Jafar and EQ you should be there." She said before walking out.

Carlos quickly grabbed the jacket Mal gave him and threw it on along with the gloves then ran to the window and jumped out landing on his feet and instantly ran to Mals hideout and started knocking on the door.

Mal had went to her hideout the night before to think and be on her own. She had been up all night long trying to figure everything out.

Her thoughts were disturbed when she heard someone knocking on her door like crazy.

She walked over and opened the door and saw Carlos.

"What the hell DeVil?" She asked.

"Look Mal." Carlos said before walking in sounding tired. "Your mother is looking to send you,me,Jay and Evie to Auradon next week!" He said.

Mals eyes widened. "What?!" She said obviously angry. "How do you know?!" She asked.

"I just heard her talking to my mother and apparent Jafar and Evil Queen have agreed to it!" Carlos responded.

"Fuuuuuck!" Mal yelled as she was just pissed.

She walked over to a table and sat on it trying to not break anything. She had actually begun to thought that her mother wasn't gonna do it.

"I can't believe this." Mal said as she was calming down. "I actually thought she decided not to do it." She stated. "Look Carlos I know we agreed to accept this Auradon thing but what if that's a mistake?" She asked as she was finally being honest about something.

Carlos went and sat on the couch and looked at Mal. "What?" He asked.

"Look you got told about Auradon by your mother just like Jay,Evie and I did." The purple haired girl stated. "What if all of those stories are true?" She asked. "We could end up dead over there!" She said as she was starting to freak out a bit.

"Look Mal we have survived here for years we can survive Auradon." Carlos said as he got up and looked at her.

"I know we have Carlos but there they magic!" She stated. "They have powers they can use against us!" She said.

Carlos looked at her and realized she was really freaking out and was scared about the whole thing.

He walked over to her and sat beside her on the table and hugged her. "Look Mal we will all be fine." He stated trying to calm her down. "We have been to hell and back here." He reminded her. "We can survive a place full of hero's." He said looking at her.

"I don't know Carlos." She said as she was slowly calming down and hugged him back.

"Look Mal I can see it and you just showed it." Carlos said. "You are terrified of going to Auradon." He stated. "You're scared but you just didn't know how to admit it." He said looking right into her eyes.

"Okay." Mal said. "You're right." She said finally accepting it. "I've been afraid ever since I heard about it." She admitted. "This is my home Carlos I've never left it before." She said. "And I'm afraid that if I go there and fail to get the wand I won't be welcomed back here at all." She said before slowly starting to actually cry.

Carlos hugged her tighter. "Look Mal we will get the wand and we will come back I promise." Carlos said trying to cheer Mal up as he's never truly seen her cry. "This is my home too along with Jay's and Evie's none of us wanna leave it." He stated.

Mal slowly stopped crying and broke the hug and looked at Carlos. "Alright Carlos." She said looking directly into his eyes.

Mal had never truly cried in her life so it was different for her to cry and it was a weird experience for her.

She got off the table and walked over to her board. "Okay if we are going to Auradon we are gonna have a plan." She stated.

Carlos looked at her and nodded. "Alright." He said. "We gonna wait for Jay and Evie or no?" He asked.

"No." Mal responded. "We will figure out the plans then later we will run them through it." She stated.

"Alright." The young boy said in response.

"Okay so first things first." Mal said. "We need to focus on the wand. That means we don't do anything else other then try to get it." She stated. "And if we have to use some of the kids over there then we do it." She said looking at him. "Got it?" She asked.

"Yeah got it." Carlos said in response.

Mal turned around and began to write on her board the plan so that way she doesn't forget it.

Carlos looked around and saw a book that had the word "Drawings" on it.

"Hey Mal is this your drawing book?" He asked.

"If it's on that table then yes." She responded. "You can look at them if ya want the drawings aren't that good." She stated.

Carlos opened the book and began to look through it. He saw Mals normal "Long Live Evil" symbol along with a list of people she hates which was basically a list of all the pirates.

As Carlos was going through the book he was shocked by one specific page in her book.

Mal was just finishing up on her board and once she was done she turned around and saw the book in Carlos's hands.

She immediately got nervous as she didn't realize that was the one Carlos had.

"Uh Mal?" He asked.

"Uh ye...yeah?" She asked nervous.

"You said you didn't have a crush on me but you've got a page here dedicated to ways you wanna tell me that you have a crush on me." The young boy said before looking at Mal. "Mal do you." He was cut off by Jay running in.

"Guys! Evie was kidnapped!" He said.

"What?!" Mal said as she looked at him.

"Yeah! The pirates took her!" Jay exclaimed.

A/N This story may be coming to an end but I can still throw in some twists and turns. Anyways thoughts?
