The Rotten Love Story

Chapter 12

"Okay look this has to be said." Carlos said as Jay,Mal and Evie sat down in Mals hideout. "Going to Auradon is gonna be tough for all of us but look. We are all different in our own ways and we are all gonna be outcasts and hated when we get to Auradon and who knows? Maybe when we get back here nothing will have changed other then the barrier being brought down." He said. "But we have built a friendship between the four of us in the short time we have all known eachother. Going to Auradon is gonna be different but we are gonna have to stand by eachother no matter what. I'll have your guys back no matter what." He continued. "But in order for us to stay there and make it through our time there we have to stick together one hundred percent. We are only gonna have eachother there." He said. "So the question is are we all gonna have eachothers back?" He asked.

"I'll have your guys back." Evie said.

"Same here." Jay added.

Mal sat there silent as she was really nervous about the whole Auradon thing she didn't know what to say.

"Mal?" Carlos said.

"Huh?" Mal asked. "Uh shoot yeah I'll have your guys back no problem." She said snapping out of her trans.

"What's wrong M?" Evie asked.

"Look guys." Mal said as she got up and Carlos went and sat down as she got in front of all of them. "Us having eachothers back is one thing but we need to remember if we fail we will not be welcomed back by our parents or this place in general remember that." She told them. "This is our only chance to prove ourselves to them and to all of the villains on the Isle." She continued. "We need to focus on that and when we go to Auradon stay focused on getting the wand and remember guys we are rotten to the core." She said before going over to the door and leaving as she needed time on her own.

As the daughter of Maleficent was walking around trying to clear her mind Uma walked up to her.

"Oh great what are you doing here again?" Mal asked already annoyed.

"I'm here to let ya know something." Uma said in response.

"What is it shrimpy?" Mal asked with a slight smile as she knew Uma hated that nickname.

"Once you go to Auradon if you don't come back with the wand I'm taking over!" The daughter of Ursula snapped.

Mal just laughed. "You won't be taking over cause I will come back with the wand." She stated.

"Good luck with that." Uma said.

"I don't need luck shrimpy." Mal responded. "Now either you leave my territory under your own power or I'll force ya out of my territory." She continued.

"I'm leaving...and oh happy birthday enjoy it this will be the last time you'll be having a birthday here." Uma said before leaving.

Now Mal had plans on coming back with the wand but of course Uma didn't wanna believe that.

Mal went back to walking around. As she was walking around she kept thinking until she bumped into a blonde haired guy with a pirate hat.

"Hey! Watch it!" The young blonde pirate said.

"Watch yourself pirate your in my territory!" Mal snapped.

"Oh your Mal!" The pirate said. "My name's Gil!" He said.

Now Mal has seen Gil before but she didn't recognize him at first as she was focused on everything going on in her head.

"Well Gil go away this is my territory and I'm tired of seeing you pirate idiots here all the time!" She snapped.

"Woah calm down." Gil said. "I came here with a message from Harry." He said.

"Ugh what the hell does he want?" Mal said obviously annoyed.

"He wanted me to tell you that if you wanna get out of going to Auradon all you have to do is date him." The son of Gaston told the purple haired girl.

"You know what?" Mal said. "Go tell Hooky that he needs to come here to talk to me cause I'll date him but there's something him and I need to talk about." She told him.

"Who's Hooky?" Gil asked.

"Ugh!" Mal said frustrated. "Harry!" She snapped.

"Ohhhh." The dumb pirate said before turning around and running off.

Meanwhile back at Mals hideout Carlos,Jay and Evie had been talking about Auradon.

"Look this is gonna be different for all of us but hey it could be worse." Jay said. "We could be forced to go with Harry,Uma and Gil instead." He said.

"That's true." Evie said.

"We are gonna have to work together to survive and get the wand." Carlos stated.

"Agreed." Evie and Jay said at the same time.

As the three were walking Carlos spotted Mal and looked at Jay and Evie.

"Uh look I'm gonna go talk to Mal make sure she's actually ready for this Auradon thing you guys keep going I'll meet up with you." Carlos said before running over to Mal.

Now somewhere inside of Mal something was telling her this was a mistake and that it's gonna be awful but she was taken away from her thoughts when she heard her name.

"Mal!" Carlos yelled as he was running over.

She turned around and saw the young boy running towards her. "Oh hey Carlos." She said.

"Look are you sure your ready for this trip to Auradon?" He asked as he made it close to her.

"Yeah.." Mal responded obviously lying.

"No your not Mal." Carlos said. "I've been able to tell for a while so has Evie and Jay." He continued. "Your not ready your obviously scared but you just won't admit it." He said.

As Mal heard what Carlos said she felt something light up inside of her that she hasn't felt in a while.

She looked directly at Carlos and pulled him close to the point where thier faces were inches apart but her eyes became green.

"Listen here dog boy." She said. "I am not scared!" She snapped scaring the young boy a bit. "Got it?!" She said right in his face.

Now that was the first time in a bit that Mal has been like that to Carlos and he didn't know what to truly say.

"Uh...uh...yeah." Was all the young terrified boy could say.

Mal smirked. "Good." She said before pushing him hard to the ground.

Mal then backed up and looked at Carlos then shook her head and turned around and ran off as her eyes went back to normal.

A/N So Mal just let out her agressive side on Carlos for the first time in a while. Why do you guys think she did that? Also do you guys think Mal is actually gonna date Harry? Finally thoughts on this chapter?
