Seán's anger-filled eyes softened as he took in your words. "Y-you're..." his voice trailed off as he slightly stumbled around. You grabbed his arm to steady him. "You're pregnant?" His eyes met yours and were filled with wonder and questioning.
"Yes," you said as your eyes lowered to the floor. You were ashamed of what you had done. You couldn't look him in the eyes. You couldn't bear to see his anger and hurt in his eyes. You figured Seán would probably reject you and want you out so when you felt a gentle hand under your chin you were surprised. He slowly raised your head so that you were eye to eye with him.
"(Y/N)," his voice was smooth and silky as he spoke, "I'm excited for this new chapter in our lives. I could never hate you forever. Although I'm hurt because of what you did, you and the baby need me right now and I will be here for both of you. I still love you. I'm going to take care of you, love."
You let out a long sigh of breath you didn't know you were holding in.
"Thank you, Seán."
That is not how I expected that to go down, you heard Anti's voice in your head.
"Seán and I will always love and support each other, no matter what we do," you mentally retorted.
We'll see about that. I'll leave you alone. For now, he chuckled in your head. You slightly shook your head before looking back at Jack. He was looking at you with a puzzled and intrigued look. You sighed before giving an answer. "Anti," you said. Seán gave you a reassuring nod before taking a step towards you and gently grabbing your arms.
"Why don't you sit down, love? Rest a bit," he said while gesturing towards the couch. You took a seat and Seán pulled a blanket across your lap. "Are you hungry? I'll go make us a late dinner," he said as he left the room. You sighed as everything settled in your mind. Anti had stopped talking to you for now. A sweet smell wafted into the living area and drew you into the kitchen. You saw Jack mixing something in a pot while reading a recipe; a large smile met your face as you gently took the recipe from his hands and began to read it.
"(Y/N), you need to rest," Seán protested.
"I'm fine, babe. I want to help cook."
"Okay," Jack sighed reluctantly as you did a little happy dance causing both of you to laugh.
"So you wanted to make cookies?" You questioned while reading over the recipe.
"Yeah, but it's hard to get everything together while I'm cooking pasta," he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"I got this," you determined as you began to search the pantry for ingredients. You finally found all that was needed (and maybe a little more) before heading back over to the counter. You placed all your ingredients there and grabbed a large bowl before beginning to mix all of them together. The sweet smell of vanilla extract filled your senses and made your mouth water. You poured everything into the bowl and began to stir the cookie batter. You popped a few chocolate chips into your mouth as your arm furiously went to work. Finally, the batter was ready. You scooped the batter out and placed them on a baking sheet when a pair of arms wrapped around your waist causing you to squeal. Seán's cute chuckle filled your ears and you turned around to face him.
"Dinner's done," he said as he placed his hands on your hips. "But I want dessert," he whispered with a grin.
You smirked and shoved a handful of cookie batter in his face before quickly making your exit. Seán's voice called out behind you.
"You better get back here!" He yelled as he began to run after you. You squealed as you dashed into his recording room and hid under the desk. You heard him run past and let out a sigh of relief. You slowly crept out from under the desk and creaked open the door. You walked out and saw the coast was clear before heading towards the kitchen. Suddenly, you were snatched from behind and spun around. "Got you!" Seán exclaimed as you squealed. He finally put you down and you faced him. You two smiled at each other before you lightly pecked his lips and dashed into the kitchen. Seán playfully shook his head before heading towards the kitchen as well.

Dinner was served and you were currently sitting across from Jack. You two were having a delightful conversation about normal things. He discussed YouTube and quoted a few hilarious comments, causing you to both laugh. The pasta he had made was amazing. The cookies were good as well and you both ate way too many. Your smile never left your face as you enjoyed your meal with your lover. Everything seemed normal. It felt nice for a change. There was no pounding in your head, you couldn't hear Anti, and you didn't feel threatened. It seemed Anti had left.
"This is nice," Jack commented as his eyes met yours.
"Yes, it is. It feels so normal," you replied. Jack nodded in response before shoving another cookie into his mouth. You giggled at your childish boyfriend. Everything was normal, for now. You knew better than to trust it, though.
