Chapter 6 "Hawaii"

I packed my last box. I went downstairs looking around, seeing the house empty. Seeing it empty made me sad. My eyes became glossy from the tears trying to escape my eyes. I tried my best to hold them back. But I couldn't. Thinking about all the memories my family and I made while we lived here. But either way. It's time we had a change in our lives and moving seemed to be the right thing for a change.

"Jane honey! Let's go. We don't want to miss our flight." My mom yelled from outside.

"Yeah I'll be there mom." I said as my voice cracked trying not to cry.

*sigh*
"I'll miss you house. I hope the next family will take great care of you." I said walking out of the house, looked back in and closed the door behind me.

5hours later

We finally arrived at Hawaii.

I was nervous at the fact that I'm going to be living on the same island as Dave. But I prayed to the good Lord above that I'll never bump into him.

20 minutes later we finally got to our new home.

I grabbed my stuff from the trunk of the Uber and entered the house.

"Damn! How big is this house dad?!" I said looking around stunned at how gorgeous and big the house was.

"I have no idea. But it sure is big." He laughed going up stairs to unpack.

I went upstairs looking at all the rooms. There are three rooms. The master bedroom is obviously my parents room. So I just got the next biggest room for myself and we left the last room for guests.

I unpacked the important things and took a nap cause jet lag was hitting me hard.

I woke up to the smell of food. So I obviously wake up, and head downstairs looking for my parents.
They weren't there, they're probably still sleeping.

"Umm who are you?" I asked the guy making the food.

"I am your chief. My name is Micheal." He said with an accent that could make any girl fall in love him him.

"Um. Our chief? Did my dad hire you or something?" I asked looking at the amazing food he made.

"Oh no love. I came with the house." He laughed putting the food in plates.

"Wait wait wait. Ok Let me get this straight. You came with the house. My dad didn't hire you, I for sure know that my mom wouldn't hire a chief right?!"

"Right" he said giving me a smirky look

"So since you came with the house, my dads boss basically hired you then?" I said as I sat at the breakfast bar.

"Yes. He's the one who hired me." He said as he fiddled with his light brown shinny  hair trying to keep it placed back.

"Ok. Well I could get used to this." I smirked

Later my Parents came to eat. After we ate, I decided to go out and walk just to look around the neighborhood.
There were lots of different trees, regular trees, palm trees, Joshua trees, you name it. It looked so beautiful at night, I'm sure it's even better at sunset.

The morning after.

New day. New home. New start. New everything.

I was pretty nervous to start going to a new school. Maybe I could actually make some friends here and at work.
I couldn't wait to explore Hawaii more. I'm in Hawaii, where I've always wanted to live. My dream of living here has come true and I couldn't be more excited to start new here.

Later on we went to T.J Max to buy some accessories for my room.

"Omg mom look at how cute this is! Don't you think it'll look cute in my room?!" I yelled with a high pitched voice.

"Oh my word! That would look so cute honey. Oh you could get this to match it!" She said as she showed me these blue and purple pastel fluffy bed pillows.

To be honest my mom and I haven't spent much time together in a long time because we both are some what busy with work and sometimes she'd get out of work I'd be already asleep. But I really liked how we were able to bond with eachother just by getting stuff for my room. But at least we caught up on our lives.

After all that shopping, we were starving so we went to an Italian restaurant, ate and did some more catching up with each other's lives.

We later got home, unpacked the rest of our stuff, and started settling in more.
I went to my room and placed all my new stuff in its place.

"I don't know how I feel about placing this here. I'll probably change it later." I said while looking at where I put the accessories down.

I got my phone and checked the time. It's 9:30pm.
Tomorrow is finally Monday. My first day at work. I'm a bit nervous but excited.
I threw my phone on my bed and fixed myself under the bed sheets and later fell asleep.

"No! You can't just try to come back into my life after everything!" I said angrily

"Jane I said I was so-"

"That you were sorry?! Yeah I know! I'm tired of you pla-"

"Jane just give me a chance!"

"No! No more chances! I gave you enough." I said walking away.

"Jane please!. Don't be like this" Dave said while walking quickly behind me, grabbed my arm, turned me around and kissed me.

I didn't know if I should've pushed him away. I was so angry at him. But that kiss. That kiss was so passionate. It took me by surprise. It sent butterflies throughout my entire body and it made me weak and felt like falling to my knees.

"Jane?!"
"Jane!!"
"JANE!!"
"Wake up honey you're going to be late for work! It's your first day, you don't want to be late. Breakfast is on the table!"

I instantly woke up when hearing my moms voice telling me to wake up.

"Oh thank God. It was just a dream." I said with relief.
