"Pull over at the garage."
"Why?"
"I know the guy who works there. He'll get us drinks."
"We don't need drinks Poppy. I have you. Tell me what happened."
"Ugh Harvey. He's being so rude. Just because I moved out! I told him I still wanted to be friends!"
"Maybe being friends isn't enough for him."
"Well it should be because he then brought up Harriet and Gaby."
"How?"
"He practically told me they'd done something. Like cheated on the boys. But I don't think they'd do it?"
"Who do you believe?"
"I don't know anymore. Would Harvey even do that to me?"
"Probably. Think about it Pops...you just met him a couple weeks ago and immediately moved in with him. You know what happened in Shakespeare's play when Hero and Claudio rushed things."
"This isn't the time for jokes Jonah. Pull over."
"I'm not joking and give me a second."

Suddenly Jonah pulled over swiftly, the car came to a stop and I hopped out and ran into the petrol station.
"Poppy?"
"Aha Hi Jack!"
"What are you doing here? You should be at school."
"Harvey's been triggering me. Can you get me a drink?"
"What do you want?"
"Anything really."
"Cider?"
"Yeah."
I smiled as Jack grabbed us a random, cheap brand of cider and put them on the side. "Be careful."
"We'll be fine."
"We?"
"Me and Jonah."
"Oh Jonah. Harvey hates him."
"Why?"
"I've already said too much."
"Jack..."
"£7.59 Please."
"Jack..."
"Poppy...."
I sighed before giving him a 10 pound note and grabbing the ciders.
"Keep the change Duff."
"Be careful!"
"Tell road trip i say hi!"
I left the station and hopped back in the car and Jonah took off.

"Nice. Who was it?"
"Jack."
"Jack?"
"Oh Jack Duff. Road trip."
"Oh. Thought you meant-"
"Noodles. I know."
"Your phones been blowing up none stop."
"Who was it?"
"Everyone."
I shook my head as I grabbed my phone and attached the seatbelt to the plug. I read my messages as Jonah pulled away.

Harriet; Where are you?
Zach; You okay? We're worried.
Corbean; heyyyy?
Noodles; want a side of noodles with that?
Harvey; want to say sorry...
Harvey; I'm not going to tho.
Harvey; wish you were here :)
Harvey; then you could see how the girls are all over me
Emily; heyy, Harvey's been an ass can we meet up?

Without replying, I slid my phone in my back pocket before grabbing Jonah's free hand and playing with his fingers. "You'll be okay Pops.."
"I hope so Jonah."

A small smile spread across Jonah's face as he turned to me at the ted light and pulled me in for a hug.
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"Everything. Your my bestfriend Jonah."
"You too."
