"Pops! Everyone's here!"

"I'll be right down Harvey!"

I turned my hair straighteners off before placing them on the side to cool down.
Harvey's parents would be working till early hours of the morning so he asked if our friends could come over for a meal which Harvey cooked, but he doesn't know what to make so we ordered Chinese.
"Hey Pops your friends are like really awkward."
"Well some of them are. It's because they know Harvey but not you or Elliot and I haven't introduced you yet so they don't know what opinion to have on you. It'll be fine don't worry."

"Eh Alright. I like your top by the way."
"Thanks Em. By the way just to alert you all the boys downstairs are taken apart from the really tall one."
"Oh him. Nah known of them are my type plus I do actually have a boyfriend but that kid keeps giving Harvey glares."

"Oh you never talk about your boyfriend."
"He's out of town visiting his parents so it's kinda hard to talk about him when I haven't seen him in so long."
"Oh okay I get it. Why's he giving Harv glares?"
"You tell me."
"Hm. I'll talk to Harvey in a sec."
"Do your mates know that you and Harvey are like hella close."
"No but all my friends drawl over him."
"I thought thy had boyfriends?"
"They do. Let's go."

I put my lip balm in my pocket and grabbed Emily's hand, pulling her back downstairs.
"Wow You look good."
"I always look good smh."
Harvey laughed at my reply and hugged me.
"That's very true babe."
I smiled as I took in his scent.

"Oooo Poppy."
"Oh shut it Zach."
I giggled before sitting next to Harvey and Elliot.

"So What do you guys want to order?"
"Ahh. We kinda ordered but Daisy recommended your favourite."
"Oh good thanks boo I'm dying of starvation."
She nodded.

I looked away from her and around the room noticing Jonah's glare.
"Jonah. Stop."
"Stop what?"
"You know what I mean."
"Whatever."
I rolled my eyes at him being immature and focused to Emily.

"Guys this is Emily. Emily Is Harv's cousin  and a good friend of mine."
Emily waved a small wave and everyone returned the favour or they just screamed some random trash.

DING DONG

"It's here."
Elliot stood up and opened the door, I helped him bring everything inside and we got the plates out of the cupboard.

"Harvey! Elliot!"
I turned to Elliot with a look of confusion.
"Who's that?"
"Ollie."
"Oh."
Elliot motioned for me to follow him so I followed him out into the hall.

"Guys...hey? Who are you?"
"I'm poppy."
"She's Harvey's girlfriend."
"Elliot shut up."
He rolled his eyes at Harvey and sat down on the stairs behind the three of us.

"She's staying here because her parents are away. What's up?"
"Why are there loads of people here?"
"Mum said we could."
"Alright. You got Chinese?"
"Yeah?"
"Ew. I'm making pasta okay? Don't disturb me. I'm working."
We all nodded and Elliot and Harvey went with Ollie to get our food.
