Chapter 2

15 minutes later, I'm looking around the school parking lot for a space. As I was looking around, I spotted Chelsie leaning on the hood of her black Honda with her phone in her hands. Probably texting someone. I finally spot a space when my phone beeps.

I take my phone out of my pocket and see that it's just Chelsie.

"Where are you?"

*To:Chrystal

I park my car and make my way behind Chelsie. And I reply to her text.

*From:Chrystal

"Look behind you."

*To: Chels

After she read what I sent her, she suddenly whips her head around to look at me with a little fear in her eyes.

"Chrystal! My lovable and most amazing best friend in the whole world! How are you?" She puts her best smile and innocent looking eyes on.

"Oh I'm totally fine. How about you?" I ask with my innocent smile but a devious glint in my eyes. I make my way over to her slowly making sure she doesn't run.

She starts backing up slowly. "Oh you know.. Just thinking how amazing you are and how you'll always love me. And that no matter what happens, you would never hurt me in any physical ways." She says with a nervous chuckle.

"Ahuh.. Sure. I'll believe that." Knowing that she'll run sooner or later, I make a proposition. "How about this.. You get 3 second start so we can end this. Good enough for ya?"

"Thanks! Bye!" And with that, she starts running. I wait exactly 3 seconds and start running after her. I run faster than her so.. 30 seconds later, I got her by the arm and ready to pinch her when Lara approaches us.

"Hey guys! What ya doin'?" She looks between us and asks "Lisa did something stupid again huh?" She chuckles.

I laugh under my breath. "Yeap.. Just same old,same old. You know us.. Always playin' around." I mutter.

She giggles. "Guess some things will never change." While she was talking, Chelsie was trying try pry my fingers off slowly one by one. I pretended I didn't notice them until she tried to ran away from me again.

I pulled her back. "Nuh-uh.. You're not getting away that easily." I pinch her so this thing will be done with.

"OW!! Why so cruel?! You little-" I smack her arm and she yelps again. "OW!! You dipwad!" She rubs her arm while I roll my eyes.

"Whatever. Let's go before we're late for class." I started walking when Lara spoke up.

"Oh! Guys, did you know that there's a new guy? He's super hot! Like a freaking Greek god! I could totally eat his face." She wiggles her eyebrows. I laugh at her face.

We've always been the kind of girls who drools over hot guys without doing anything about it. Harmless crush. Although Chels and Lara are really shy talking to guys. I'm always the calm one. I don't really care. I mean, sure, I get excited but I don't really show it.

Chelsie squeals "Omg! I hope he's in one of my class! I can totally imagine him checking me out." She sighs dreamily.

I roll my eyes. "What's there to check out?" I said chuckling.

"Ha-ha. You think you're so funny huh? Well, we'll see when we see him." She replies throwing her hair over her shoulder jokingly.

"Sure,sure.. We'll see." I said sarcastically.

"Who's the one being sarcastic now huh? I should totally pinch you for that." She says.

"Go ahead. Your pinches don't affect me." I stuck my tongue out to her.

"I could just pull your hair." She smiles evilly.

"And I could just dig my nails in your skin." I reply.

"I'll just pull your hair harde-" she gets cut off by Lara.

"Ok! Guys,guys. As much as I love to hear you two bicker, we actually have a class to go to." And right on time, the bell rings.

I sigh. One more year of my boring school life. I can't wait.

"Bye guys. I'll see you later. I'll just go to my locker." She waves goodbye and we wave back.

"Bye!" Chels and I said.

I turn to her "Hey, we should probably get going too."

She sighs. "Yeah.. Let's go."
