Chapter 13

Chelsie left just 5 minutes ago and I'm already bored. Hm.. I wonder what I should wear tomorrow.. Jeans or shorts? Tomorrow's probably going to be hot. So shorts. I walk over to my closet and take my jean shorts out and my white v-neck shirt. I put it down on my chair together with my accessories for tomorrow.

20 has passed and I'm still laying down on my bed awake. I decided to take my phone out and read some stories from Wattpad. My eyes started drooping and the next thing I know, I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning from my phone ringing in my hand. I answered it and stood up looking at the clock.

"Hello?" I answered with yawn.

"Hey Chrysta, I need a ride today, that ok?" Chelsie asked from the other line.

I yawned again. "Ahuh. Sure. Just let me get ready. I'll be there in 40 minutes. K?"

"Ok. Bye!" I placed my phone on the table then went inside the bathroom.

I took a quick shower and blow dried my hair then stepped into my bedroom picking up the clothes I chose last night and put them on. After I was dressed, I glanced at my watch to see that I've got 20 more minutes to kill. I went back inside the bathroom to put a bit of eyeliner,mascara, and a lip balm.

I grabbed my bag from the floor and my phone off the desk. I quickly made my way downstairs to find my mom sipping on her coffee.

She looked up and smiled. "Good morning."

"Morning mom" I smiled at her.

"Did you eat last night?" She asked me.

"Nah.. Chels and Lara Mae came over and we ate a bunch of chips and candies." I grinned.

"You'll all have diabetes soon if you girls don't watch it." She warned.

"It's not like we eat 10 packs of'em everyday." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Whatever. Just watch it." She said before returning to her phone.

"Hey mom, I won't come home straight after school today. Is that ok?" I asked her.

"Why? Where are you going?" She asked me curiously.

"Well, my new friends,Chels,Lara Mae,and I were deciding to go to the park for all of us get to know each other then head back here to hang out and play some video games and stuff." I answered shrugging.

"And who are your new friends?" She asked me.

I gave her a 'really' look. "Really,mom? I won't tell you because if I even mention a guy's name, you'll be like a teenage girl and pushing me to him. Not happening. You'll meet them someday." I sighed. Sometimes my mom can be such a child. It gets on your nerves sometimes.

"Fine." She huffed.

"Fine." I mimicked her. I looked at my watch to see that I've got 10 more minutes. I grabbed an apple and said goodbye to my mother. I unlocked my car door and threw my bag on the passenger's seat and drove to Chelsie's house.

I arrive at Chelsie's house in about 3 minutes and honk twice. The door opened seconds later and she jumps in my car.

"Hi!" She chirps.

"Hey." I smile.

I check for any sign of other car and start driving to school. Omg I can't wait for later. Going out with Roman and Denis. With other people of course. Because it would kinda be awkward if it were just us three. Yeah..

"Are you excited?" Chelsie asked me.

"Yeah, I guess. You?" I asked glancing at her from the corner of my eye.

"Hell yeah! I mean, hanging out with the hot guys? Duh! Plus we get to eat ice cream. And other foods in your house." She said grinning.

"Of course. Food." I rolled my eyes. This girl loves food too much. I bet if I made her choose between husband or food, there's no doubt she'll pick food.

The rest of the drive to school was quiet except for some small talks.

Sorry if I don't update much. I'm just really into reading.
