So we got to go on a field trip in drama. Where to?
Backstage! It was fun having him explain all the ways we could die if we played with the wrong things. Here are some of the things he warned us about:
"Don't go by that wall, it's broken and if you touch it, it will most likely fall on you and crush you."
"See that furniture? don't go on it, again that wall might fall on you because the repairman hasn't bothered to fix it."
"Those costumes over there? Don't wear them because I told you not to."
"Don't try climbing back there, you could trip and fall and split your head open with some of those sharp props and objects back there."
"Don't play with the curtain, it could fall on your head."
Also, this last one does not refer to the backstage but more of the front stage:
"Please do not jump off the stage because you will break your ankle or leg and I will have to do paperwork and I do not like paperwork."
The kids only replied with "YES COACH!" as if they were talking to the P.E. Teacher (Physical Education)
