Over the next few days Keishin would train in the mornings and then leave the still decrepit mansion to go and spend some time with Akira. Eventually he told her about the Soul Society and she asked numerous questions about it. He didn't tell her the full extent on why he could never go back, why none of them could go back. It's not that he didn't want, but more that she wouldn't understand that if they were to go back then it would have meant certain death for all of them.
Of course she wanted to meet the others but he felt that it wouldn't be a good idea, Hiyori for one might just do something stupid and hurt her. Another thing he discovered about her was that after a while she got awfully touchy and not in the easily insulted way either. Any chance she got to touch him she took it, whether it be to grab his hand suddenly to show him something or occasionally when he needed treatment for overdoing it.
"So can I see it?" She asks one day as he lays on the grass, arms thrown behind his head in a complete state of relaxation.
He cracks open an eye and squints against the sun peeking through the gaps in the tree leaves. "See what?" He asks, eye closing as he shuts out the light.
She shoves his shoulder. "Your sword you dummy."
He sighs as he lifts himself onto his elbows, white shirt crumpling with his movement. "Why?"
She rolls her eyes. "Because I haven't really seen one before." She waves a hand. "We don't exactly need weapons like that anymore round here."
He falls back down onto the grass. "That's because regular people can't see the true monsters."
"Like those things right?"
He sleepily nods. "We call them Hollows, they form when a spirit lingers for too long in this world, their regret is usually what makes them turn but sometimes in very few cases they can be created when a Hollow eats them and turns them into one to do their bidding."
She shivers. "Sounds scary to me."
He looks at her all serious. "They can be, if you see one you need to get as far away from it as possible."
Instead of agreeing immediatly like he thought she would she just grinned and flopped onto the grass beside him. "But why would I do that when I have you around to save me?"
He sighs irritably. "That's the point I won't always be there."
She just laughs. "Sure you will."
Another sigh, though more in defeat. "Yeah sure."
She sits up. "So come on already show me it." She says eagerly, grabbing his arm and shaking it like a child.
"You know you should be careful what you say out loud." He hardly tilts his head to look at her. "People might start talking."
Her face turns red. "What! that is not what I meant and you know it." Her bottom lip sticks out as she turns away to pout. "Your so mean."
He feels the rumbles in his chest as he laughs. "Your too easy."
She pouts for a bit longer before falling backwards and slamming her head onto his stomach. "I hate you." She complains only to laugh.
He winces slightly at her hitting but lets it be. "Yeah yeah." Her head though is a warm, welcome weight. Far better then getting kicked in the gut by Hiyori.
"His name is Taureus." he comments.
She turns her head. "What?"
"My zanpakuto, his name is Taureus."
She raises an eyebrow. "It's a he?" The other one raises. "And you named it?"
He refrains from rolling his eyes. "Yes it's a he and I didn't name him he told me his name himself."
