Chapter song- Party by Beyoncé

CHAPTER 6:

Mya's P.O.V

As soon as I finally calmed down and realized what just happened I started to freak out. Why the hell would Mr.Ramirez do something like that; I know he saw me with Beau this morning. I'm so fucked. I need to call Arielle and tell her everything. I check my purse and my phone wasn't there. Fuck! Mr.Ramirez still has my phone. I quickly run out the classroom to find him. I exit the building and saw him and Adonis arguing. I quickly run over to them and get in front of Mr.Ramirez.

"I need my phone back now," I said in a very annoyed voice.

"Why should I, you had it out during your detention I have every right to take it away," he said mockingly.

"Because if you don't I will go to the principal and tell what you just did to me since I think that was pretty illegal." He wasn't expecting that because he sighed and reached in his pocket and took out my phone. I quickly snatched it and put on a fake smile and said "Thank you." I turned around and said goodbye to Adonis who was chuckling at the whole situation. As I walking away I could hear him get upset with Adonis again but I could care less. I need to tell Arielle what the hell just happen. I opened my car door and checked my phone and saw that both Arielle and Beau blew up my phone with calls and text messages. I quickly read over Beau's messages and saw that he said he couldn't hang out today because something about a sick family member or something. But as I read Arielle's messages she was mad because she thought I ditched her and that apparently she had something to tell me to. I quickly called her to explain my story. She answered after two rings which is never a good sign.

Arielle's POV

After 20 minutes my mother finally pulled up. I hopped in the passenger seat with my mom glaring at me.

"Why did you get detention," she said icilly.

"Because my stupid new teacher hates me."

"Don't get smart with me," she said back fiercely.

"I wasn't being smart," I said defensively.

"Don't yell at me."

"I wasn't yell-. Ok," I said defeated. "If I had my own car we wouldn't be having this conversation," I muttered softly.

"What was that," she asked. I mumbled nothing.

I'm sitting in my room pacing. I've got to tell Mya what happened today. Just thinking about it makes me think about his lips. My hand unconsciously floated to my lips. Then my phone started to ring. Mya's ringtone played Drunk in Love by Beyoncé. I answered immediately.

"Why haven't you answered my calls," I yelled into the phone.

"Hey. Don't yell at me," she said back.

"You sound like my mother."

"Quit comparing me to your family members. Anyways I got detention and-,"

"Wait you got detention," I said.

"Yes, now don't interrupt me," I sighed, "and also my teacher friggin' kissed me."

"Swear, which one?"

"Mr. Ramirez," she said.

"Which one," she asks again.

"The one we saw outside."

"SWEAR! Dude, that's freakin' weird cause the same thing happened to me but with his twin," I yelled.

"You mean Adonis?"

"Yeah. How do you know his name?"

"He told me," she said. I just know she's smiling right now. "Why? Jealous?"

"No!" Maybe.

"Mmhm."

"I hate you."

"Love you too. But my gay bestfriend, Kole, is throwing this party tonight and you know his parties are legendary, so we have to go."

"How do you know that I'm not grounded." Pssh. Yeah right my mom doesn't even know the meaning of it.

"Well it's called sneak out." She has issues.

"You're horrible," I said shaking my head.

"I know. Be ready by 6. I'll come pick you up and take you to my house since I have the better wardrobe." I rolled my eyes at that. I hung up on her and got ready.

I put on some ripped booty blue jean shorts, a black and white plaid shirt. I popped a few buttons to show a little bit of cleavage.I have on some of my black converse shoes on. Forget heels. I put on dark lipstick and eyeliner. I took my mom's hoop earrings and put on a bracelet that my dad gave me. Oh don't forget the hat. Thank God I don't have to worry about my hair. It just naturally falls into place.

My heavy steps going down the steps alerted my mom.

"Where are you going?"

"To the movies," I lied.

"In that."

"People have gone to the movies in worse."

"Do you even have any money? And how will you get home," my mom fired the questions at me.

"Of course. How would I get into the movies, and Mya will drive me home. Also you forget that I have do have a license." Just no car. I heard two beeps outside and ran outside after I gave my mom a hug and kiss. I ran outside and saw Mya. I hopped into her car and she sped off to her house.
