Change Me - Chapter 3

*After School*

Jessica's POV 💭

Today after school me and Shelley were going shopping and the whole walk to my car I was going on and on about Tyler .

"But I thought you weren't interested?" She asked

"I'm not .. "

"Seems like it."

"I'm definitely not interested in some gang-banger. She's just .. Interesting."

"Interesting? Gang-banger? Do you even know anything about her?"

"No. There's nothing I need to know if I'm not interested ."

"Maybe you should give her a chance. And stop referring to her as a gang-banger. I heard that stuff goes deeper than anybody's basic perception of it ." She said in her serious tone

"Look ... She's just some player , who's in a gang , takes drugs , sells drugs , and probably acts like a bully to people."

Shelley shook her head but as she was about to say something she was interrupted by a huge crowd yelling a couple of feet away . We pushed our way through to see what was going on. "This is not a game! You don't play with this!" A familiar voice said . It was Tyler !

I could see Tyler and one of her male friends holding another boy against fence and they were screaming at him. I turned to Shelley and said,"See, bully ."

*Later That Afternoon *

Tyler's POV 💭

Me and my crew decided to escape the neighborhood tonight and chill at the park , the place that we let all our worries go away and just keep cool. We were in the middle of reminiscing on the first grade when I noticed Jessica walking her dog and excused myself , jogging over to her.

"So you have a dog? What kind is he?" I said while rubbing the dogs head

"He's a Husky." She replied , obviously not interested in a conversation

"Name?"

"Rocky, look I really gotta- "

"Wait ! Can we sit and talk for a minute?"

She hesitated , but eventually nodded yes and we sat on the nearest bench.

"So I was wondering...,"I started off,"if you would give me a chance and maybe get to know me better. Like a date or something?"

"No thanks ... I'm not interested in some gang member that's sells drugs and beats up on innocent people after school."

"It was deeper than that .."

"Whatever Tyler , just save it . Like I said you should really stop trying."

And then she was gone . Wow.... She's so confusing .. But I guess this time I just really have to stop trying.
