Tyler's POV💭

"You little brats think this shit is a joke huh?!? Y'all are SHORT for the very first time and why is that!?" Big yelled at the too of his lungs

We all stood there in silence .

He walked from around his desk and stood in front me.

"Tyler .... ,"he started ,"you're the leader so .... I assume you know what happened ?" He said eyeing me rather hard

I slowly swallowed trying to find the words . I knew what really happened but... For the sake of my friends .. I had to lie .

"It was my fault .. I slipped up and I apologize . I'll do everybody's part with no mistakes next week if I have to sir." I said trying to keep the straightest face .

He stared me down hard . It's like he could hear my heart beating fast . Then he stepped back and examined everybody .

Shay was on the verge of tears.

Derek of course showed no emotion.

Dontae stood there with his head held high , looking like he was trying to hold his breath .

And Kayla .... Kayla was sweating like crazy . That happens when she wants to tell the truth . I just hope she keeps her mouth closed ...

Big returned to his seat. He leaned back and turned around .

"Listen kids .. This is the first time you all have messed up but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt ,"he turned around," and I'm going to take Tyler up on her little offer ."

And with that he tossed me a bag filled with everybody's stash .

"You have two weeks to bring me 400 dollars and that includes the 150 dollars you all were missing . No funny business .. Dismissed ."

And with that we were escorted out.

We got down the street and stopped.

"So y'all just weren't gonna say shit huh?! That's what the fuck we doing now?!" I exclaimed

They stood quiet

"Ty .." Kayla started

"No don't even say anything Kayla . I don't blame you I blame him." I said pointing to Dontae .

"Bruh c'mon Ty " he said

"No man ! You couldn't get your dick outta your head long enough to realize you had shit to do ! Then ontop of THAT you fucking with Kayla and some random neighborhood hoe! You give Kayla some STD or something I swear your ass is mine ! " obviously I'm very upset .

The situation went like this . Kayla likes me and Dontae but I would never take it there so Dontae it was . Dontae and her aren't together but messed around a lot and the other night got her in the bed . And according to Kayla she didn't want it. Dontae was supposed to be finishing his stash but instead his ass smoked it to get high before he left Kayla's house and went to the other girls house . Loosing us that 150 dollars . I mean who wouldn't be pissed .

"Tyler she's sorry she couldn't help it!" Shay said

"You know what ... fuck this ! I hope y'all have some nice time off cause I have money to make for the next two weeks just to save y'all asses ! Goodnight ." And with that I walked away

I love my friends ... They're like family .. But the whole situation tonight could've gone worse . And honestly .. I can't say they would've confessed if anything happened to me .

When I got home I took off my shirt and my pants and threw on some basketball shorts . I sat on the edge of my bed and checked my phone .

Jessica texted me ... So of course I'm going to text her back .

"Hey sweetheart . I'm ok" I sent

She replied super fast

"It's almost 2am I was so worried!"

"You stayed up?"

"Yes baby I had to make sure you were ok ."

"Well aren't you sweet ;)"

"Isn't that why you call me sweetheart?"

"Touché ... "

"I have an idea... We should have early morning breakfast together, before school. Call it a date?"

"It's a date sweetheart "

"Well I don't wanna keep you up any longer so get some rest and I'll see you at school ok?"

"Ok baby . Goodnight :*"

"Ooo kissy faces ! :* Goodnight ."

I put my phone on its charger , later back and smiled . Then eventually I fell asleep .

*The Next Morning*

Jessica's POV 💭

This morning I woke up pretty early to avoid my mom and drive myself to school .

I sat at one of the picnic tables on the side of the school and waited for Tyler .

Eventually she walked up with a bag in her hand.

"Waffle House? Well aren't you amazing." I said smiling

"I might be." She smirked

We sat there for about an hour , just talking.. She kept saying the corniest stuff but it made me smile and laugh. She's the sweetest thing ever and I love it .

But then people started to arrive at the school and we both knew out date was coming to an end . She tossed away our empty containers and joined me as I stood against the wall .

"So that's the end of our date huh?" I asked slightly disappointed

She stood in front of me and held my waist .

"Well...,"she started," this maybe be the end of this one but ....," then she looked into my eyes," it doesn't have to be the last . But that's up to you sweetheart."

"This definitely won't be our last." I said blushing really hard

Then I wrapped my arms around her neck .

She licked her lips .

"Can I kiss you Jessica?"

"Yes you can Tyler ."

And then she kissed me . It wasn't the first time but it felt like it . It was slow and soft and sweet . I felt sparks . And we smiled the whole
time .

Best date ever ... But with Tyler ... I feel like there are definitely more to come .
