Thankfully for both Jimin and Namjoon, Thursday came quickly. They had both been practically dying to see each other, especially after their slightly heated messages and the mystery behind the photoshoot theme.
Namjoon had picked the younger up from his home and they went to go see a play. It was, of course, Namjoon's idea and he had feared that Jimin would dislike the idea, but the boy's face lit up when the plans for the day were mentioned.
They got good seats, as Namjoon's aunt happened to work at the theater where the play was being held. They sat directly in the middle; not too far, not too close.
After the play, it seemed as if Jimin wasn't able to be quiet. He talked on and on about certain parts of the play, discussing his opinions on characters and what scenes were his favorites.
"I couldn't believe that she killed him! She had no remorse either," Jimin spoke animatedly about the main female character. "She was so badass and cruel. I adore her."
"You're a freak," Namjoon jokes, glancing over at the boy in the car seat beside him. "Only you would adore her. I'm pretty sure everyone else despised her."
"That's their loss," Jimin shrugged. "They probably all liked D–"
"If you say who I think you're going to say, don't," Namjoon cut him off.
"He was your favorite too, wasn't he?"
At Namjoon's silence, Jimin sighed and shook his head. "I thought you had better taste, hyung. I'm disappointed in you. His character was so lame."
"He was a good guy the whole time! And he sacrificed his life to save everyone," Namjoon defended his favorite character. "He was dependable and brave. I think he's admirable."
"Boring," Jimin drug the word out to emphasize. "Heroes get old extremely fast. Villains are unpredictable, thus making them more interesting."
"Let's agree to disagree," Namjoon compromised, chuckling.
"That's good with me."
Arriving at Jimin's home, they went inside and kicked off their shoes. Jimin immediately went over to the kitchen, placing his things down on the counter.
"Do you have any preference for dinner?" He questioned, going over to the refrigerator and looking inside.
"No, I'm not picky," Namjoon replied, walking up behind Jimin as he was bent over to search through the fridge.
"Okay, then I'll surprise you."
Jimin felt hands on his hips and something firm being pressed against his butt. His eyes widened and he sprung up, turning around to look at Namjoon. "Hyung," he scolded, his hands on his hips. "I'm trying to get our dinner started. Now is not the time to be a perv."
"Sorry," Namjoon apologized, not really meaning it. "I couldn't help myself."
"Well why don't you help yourself to the couch and television while I cook," Jimin suggested, turning back around.
"Why do you have so much meat in your fridge? It's only you that lives here."
"Meat is my absolute favorite food. I eat a lot for my size," he replied, grinning. "Now shoo so I can cook."
"Fine, I'll go, but if you need help, let me know," Namjoon told him, kissing his lips softly before heading to the living room and plopping down on the couch.
Jimin smiled to himself as he received his ingredients from his refrigerator and cabinets.
It was fairly quiet as he cooked, the only sounds being the stove, his knife against the cutting board, and the television playing softly.
As the food cooked, Jimin stepped into the living room to see what Namjoon had busied himself with.
"Hey hyung, what are you up to?"
"Well, I'm nosy, so I'm reading your writing," Namjoon admitted, eyes glued to the laptop screen.
"Hyung!" Jimin exclaimed, trying to grab the laptop from him.
Namjoon held it out of Jimin's reach, teasing him. "Ooh, whats this tab? How to prepare–"
The laptop was ripped from his hands by a clearly upset Jimin.
"Don't touch my stuff," he told the older sternly.
"I was just curious, Jiminie. I'm sorry," Namjoon apologized, feeling bad for snooping.
"Next time please contain your curiosity."
Namjoon nodded firmly. "I will. Quick question though. Were you looking up how to make something for me for dinner?"
"Y-yes," Jimin stuttered, seeming embarrassed. "I know how to cook, I just haven't made anything like this before."
"Whatcha making?" Namjoon asked, trying to tell what it was from the delicious aroma floating around the room.
"I'm making stew with this special fresh meat I got from the butcher. It's supposed to be healthier and taste better," he explained. "Well, at least that's what the man told me."
Namjoon modded once more, inhaling deeply once more to smell the stew effectively.
After putting his laptop in his bedroom, Jimin checked on the food that he was preparing. "This should be done soon!" Jimin sang, grinning at Namjoon excitedly.
The two sat on the couch, watching television and sharing loving kisses until Jimin confirmed that the food was finished.
They sat at Jimin's small table and enjoyed the food together, Namjoon showering the younger in compliments about his cooking skills. When they finished, Jimin quickly washed the dishes while Namjoon got his photography stuff out of his car.
