It has been 3 weeks now. The newbies have been getting better.

~Flashback: a week ago ~

"Come on!!! Move it, move it!" I was saying to the noobs.

~A little while later~

"They aren't that good," Soarin said walking up to me.

"No, not really," I agreed, "but I can see something in them. We just need to get it out of them," I reassured.

"If you say so," he replied. "But I don't see what you see."

~End of flashback~

School, in general, has been pretty great.

But with my home life, things have been a bit difficult. I have to go back home right away after school is over, because of chores.

My friends are, surprisingly, not suspicious.

Right now, I was going to lunch when I bumped into Soarin.

"Watch it!" I snapped angrily.

"Oops! Sorry, Rainbow," Soarin replied sympathetically.

I rolled my eyes. I hate getting treated with sympathy on normal days, especially when I'm in a bad mood, but today was not a normal day. Today I was in no mood for any funny business or any socializing. I didn't get any sleep because I was up all night doing chores. I only got 2 hours of sleep. And trust me, you want me to get my beauty sleep.

"Whatever, but do watch where you're going, will you?" I grumbled rubbing my eyes with my fingers.

"Of course."

I was about to walk away when he grabbed my arm.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine," I snapped.

With that, I walked away. I went into the cafeteria, got food, and spotted my friends. I waved at them and walked to their table.

"Hey, guys!" I said, trying to be cheerful.

"Hey! Did you see the poster?" Pinkie asked enthusiastically.

"What poster?" I asked.

"This one," AJ replied handing me a poster.

I looked at it. A music competition?

I smiled.
